It's still Sunday evening in Ottawa, lets see. Fingered crossed I think at this time everyone is waiting for ppr, so probably they will batch all the pprs and be done with it. That's the logic for delays maybe.

Hey guys,

I just heard back from my attorney with an update that he has received passport request for me. I will be sending it out as soon as possible as I plan to travel in a month. I had couple of quick questions and would really appreciate if someone can answer:

1. Any preferred courier service that you would suggest? FedEx maybe?
2. For all those who have already done it from US, is there anything else that I need to keep in mind when sending my passport across borders? Any accompanying documentation?
3. As I mentioned earlier, I plan to travel in a month. Is CPCO consistent with stamping and sending the passport back in 2 weeks? I mean I have some margin but just want to know from your experiences.

Congratulations!!!! ....I've been missing in action on this forum since I got my passport back stamped and I see a lot has happened since then! I know you've waited a very very long time for this. Now enjoy the moment and bask in the sunshine of good news for a while!

I used Fedex and everything went REAAALLLLY smoothly! You need to call 1-800-GO-FEDEX and set up an account with them. Then print out both the labels for the CPCO part and the pre-printed return part of the journey (This can be a bit complicated, so have a fedex account rep guide you though this - they helped me with this). Then print out everything (about 6 pages in total - customs forms etc.), and you're done! Enclose everything they've asked you for, including your self-addressed and prepaid Fedex envelope and send it!

I got my passport back stamped with my COPR in 8 days! Was very quick and unexpected! Wish you the best for a similarly smooth outcome!!

Also wish all of you remaining folks waiting for their PPR the best so that they send it to you very soon!!! ....and close out "FSW" once and for all.

Actually take that "we update on Tuesdays" message with a grain of salt. I don't think there is much validity to it. My ECAS was updated with DM, in real time, on a MONDAY. And I know someone on here a bit back said theirs was updated on a Friday!

i just check the other express entry forum and people have been getting PPR and DM on sunday also ..13th Sept.
This is so unfair on the part of CPCO..!!
