Man, really don't know what's going on with CPCO, and it will be long weekend again. Just saw someone from the other visa office has got PPR already, and he even just finished medical on Aug.24
But the good news is he had not got TLU either before PPR.

I received the notes lately. It seems the officer would touch my file on a monthly basis :'( Ordered the new notes yesterday, free of charge now?

6.5 weeks since TLU now and no word. :

Maybe it is just competing priorities with Express Entry...all the applicants for student visas should have already processed by now since the Fall semester at colleges/universities would have already started. The workload of EE may take priority. It seems to me though they'd want to just finish up and be done with the last of the old previous system FSW 2014 applicants.

I got an email for cpc saying that my application is in queue for 'final review'.

What does that mean? Are all the checks etc done? Is the next step ppr?

Do you know the waiting time for the final review queue?

This is good news ..i guess the final review is when it's sent to the program director for the final approval and once it gets approved ..you get the DM/PPR.. did you send them an email . if yes , then can you share what email you sent them.

its just that he might have sent an email to CPCO to enquire about his application and they sent back a reply that it's in a final review stage.

seems CPCO replys emails more frequently than usual. But why don't they send DM and PPR? Other visa offices are acting very fast. I know HKVO has sent out more than 30 MR in last two days.

Same thing with me too. It's been around the same period of time after the TLU . Don't know why it's taking this long for the final steps to be done. Hoping we all hear some good news soon.

These are general updates..i think they have sent hard copies of medical and RFVF emails to the mailing address and hence updated these..i dont think there is anything more to that ..As for the medicals i don't think there is any process to verify that they have received the MR or not..unless you send them a email and they respond back to you.

I sent an email to CIC requesting them to confirm about the receipt of MR. How long generally it takes to receive a email response back from CIC? Thanks.

You can't say about CIC sometime they give reply the next day sometimes you don't even get a reply at all .
I saw someone who got a reply next day whereas I have sent 3 mails since the time I got my medicals done but one of them got a response ..
