guys after endless hours of cribbing ..i finally got my MR + RFVF + PCC request today ..!!
so thankful to god for this..and all the freinds here for support ..!!

I've been away from the forum for a bit and I just saw this!!!! Congrats buddy!!!! I am so happy for you. I know it must have been such a relief to finally get this after so long. Kudos for staying calm throughout the process. Seeing so many others get MR when you had earlier dates had to be nerve-wracking.

Woooooo Hoooooooo!!!! Thank you God!! As I was just checking my ECAS just now I saw "Decision Made", but did not get any email. It made me really nervous. But after about an hour I got the much awaited PPR email!! Thank you guys for answering my questions and all the help! It sure was a roller coaster ride, but with a satisfying end

"Dear ..... ,

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within [30] days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and if applicable, permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email and include the details of your situation. ............. "

If someone has sent their Passports from the US could you please tell me if I can use FEDEX to send them the passport, or UPS? And how would I do this? Would I simply go to Fedex and insert a SELF-ADDRESSED envelope inside the package I send them and pay my local Fedex here the charges? I'm a bit confused on this.

As you know I don't want to make any mistakes and get it 100% right (as you guys know how it is after everything we've been through to get to this stage!! ) Please advise me. THANKS!!

Here's what the email says, in part:

"STEP 3: SUBMITTING DOCUMENTS FROM CANADA OR THE US

If you or any of your accompanying family members are outside Canada or the United States, please disregard the following instructions and contact CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca so that we can make arrangements to issue the documents at a local visa office.

1. Gather the following documents:

ÿ Passport(s)
ÿ One copy of this letter
ÿ One self-addressed envelope* with your complete mailing address for us to return your passport(s) and Confirmation(s) of Permanent Residence
ÿ One envelope* addressed to our office to send your package

*Please refer to the instructions in the table below.

Incorrect mailing addresses could result in your passport(s) being lost. Our office accepts no responsibility for documents lost in the mail.

2. Submit all documents by mail in a single package:

ÿ Enclose your passport(s), copy of this letter and folded self-addressed envelope in the envelope with our mailing address;
ÿ Send your correspondence in accordance with the instructions that are specific to the country where you have a mailing address:

......If you have a mailing address in the US:

3. You must send us a self-addressed prepaid envelope from a courier that operates from Canada to the United States.

Guys, Finally I got the MR today. In one mail there was request was for MR+PCC+RPRF+RCMP criminal check. 42 days after SLU, 5 months and 10 days after PER.

@747-captain: I sent by canadapost so I may not be the best persons to answers your question abt Fedex

But I guess that's how u create return label. In 'To', put address where you want it delivered. And in 'From' put CPC – Ottawa, 365 Laurier Avenue West, Ottawa ON, K1A 1L1

You might also have to fill out customs form which should be easy as its just documents. Check fedex create return label

Yes that has happened to many. Don't worry it will come in 24 or 48 hours.

Thanks Vinaj!! ....even though the hardest part seems to be over, I'm still nervous about sending the passport across the border. I just created a shipping label and return label with the help of the FEDEX phone rep. They needed me to open an account so that I could pay for the return shipment as well. Did you have any DELAYS or problems with the CUSTOMS guys while sending your passport from US to Canada?? I'm just worried about that. Thanks!

No sending and receiving was smooth. No issues.

The only problem was CPC-O, they stamped my passport the very next day after it reached but sent it back after 3 weeks.... :-\

I think many applicants have been reporting that they are not receiving emails from CPC. So now after email they send, they update it on ECAS (not for everybody yet).

So it should be just about your MR. And since you already got fourth line update I don't think you should be worried about anything

Have you sent them everything including RPRF and all PCCs? You may want to send them an email saying the only correspondence u ever received is medical request (or PCC/RPRF if you received it) and you have already sent it and to let you know if they need any additional documents.

Yes, I sent everything you have mentioned and paid the RPRF. After taking a closer look,I came to the same conclusion as you have mentioned that they created this line due to the reporting from many others complaining not receiving any correspondence from CIC, therefore, I think its just an extra line for me since they have already acknowledged the medicals on the forth line.

Don't worry that's something my ECAS is also showing ..I think this is something that they might have added ..I think you on your way to PPR ..bets of luck !!

Thanks Harrysaini. Well I had the same feeling too after taking a closer look . Now I will be waiting either for DM or PPR whichever comes first.

btw, my medical was uploaded 7th Aug, when can I expect 3rd line update?
