Lyn, it was received by them on June 1st. I sent it via a colleague who was traveling to Toronto and she mailed it out. It was received by a friend last week and handed over to me this morning.

Anyways I have a question regarding sending passports from USA. I am Indian citizen working in USA on H1 B visa. Should I send my passports or send an email to CPC to change my embassy for visa printing ? Anybody had any such experience please share

Hey Civil, when did you send yours? It seems that it takes around 10 to 14 days including weekends for them to send visa based on past posts.

Received June 1st. Visa stamp date June 3rd. I had mine mailed from Toronto to Ottawa and back to Montreal from where I received it via a friend today.

varun, in the past indians have sent it from US successfully

If you have time and want to do it the right way, send them an email right now to get your passport stamped from US visa office as it may add upto 2-3 weeks

If you are in hurry, you can just send it to them which should be fine.

Its up to you.

Based on my timeline i can say You will have it.
My psprt reached on 5th at CPC, as per canadapost Return tracker it was shipped by cpc on 12th late evening & estimated delivery at my local address is 18th .( No progress since last saturday on tracker though, so I doubt if they are updating USA locations unlike USPS & my shipment may have corssed border by now or stuck in custom)

I paid 18.57 CAD for return prepaid label.

DM was 30 of MAY
