Guys,

CIC sent me the Canada post link to buy a prepaid mailing label to send it with my passport so that they can deliver the passport back to USA from Canada after stamping the visa.

I am trying to buy the label but it seems like you can only buy it using a Canadian credit card.

Any suggestions for someone who is residing in USA and trying to get the passport back using a secure tracking method?

Appreciate all the help guys.

I just sent my passport today and it will reach CPC-ottawa Tommorow.
I will give you further updates which can help you predicting timelines.

on page 381 Anirudho said his passport tracker got activated yesterday. maybe your & others waiting will be soon. let's hope not all CPC-O officers are on break to enjoy sunshine :

congrats bro....in my own opinion, they sent a PPR when they were ready to (i mean your file is fully complete at that particular moment). Sending them an explanatory email had a minimal effect to the issuing of your PPR

FYI:

As you all know I have received PPR two days back...

Actually, last week, I wrote to my local MP quoting my GCMS notes.

I mentioned that my file is in 'appears ready for visa' state for more thank a month and I have not received ppr.

I also mentioned that I passed eligibility, medicals, criminality and according to call centre my file is complete (which means I beleive security checks are done)

Further, I mentioned that I do understand that CPC processes applications according to the app. date. But, I highlighted the fact that there are applicants, who applied after me received PPR.

Then this week I got PPR...

Not sure whether there is influence of MP or not but looks like there is some...

I agree - Maybe as at time Canada post arrived for the processing of mails, your passport wasn't ready...give it Friday or maximum next week
