Took them 10 days to mail from US to Canada

I would like to share the great news with you.

Just received my Passport Request email at 10:39 p.m. Ottawa time.

My timeline is as follows:

Visa Office: CPC Ottawa (Cairo)
Application Received: June 17, 2014
PER: October 15, 2014
Interview: Waived
Medical Request: November 25, 2014
Medicals Done: December 6, 2014
Third line update: December 22, 2014
Japan PCC sent: January 15, 2015
Passport request: March 17, 2015 (10:39 pm)

I would like to thank all the generous members of this group and wish everyone all the best with their future.

Ok, so previous week we had PPRs exclusively for May applicants. This week June guys are sharing their RFV news. Is this backlog clearing or they are just pulling random files from the piles? Go figure anyways, congratulations!

Guys, I just want to share the good news. Received PPR email today at 8:39pm. Praise God! After a long wait between medicals done (Jan05) and 3rd line/medicals received (Feb13), I received the most awaited email today though my ECAS doesn't have DM yet.

To admin, pls help me update the spreadsheet as I don't have my computer now. Thank you

Just got RPRF, PCC and MR request - strangely from NDVO!
I was expecting it from CPC-O.
Any idea why my app was sent to NDVO?
I can send all requests to NDVO. I would however want my visa to be stamped in Canada. When would be the right time to request for this- should I wait till passport request?
How many days do VOs give for visa stamping?

and when you will receive your ppr they will give you 30 days to submit your passport.. then you can send an email to change your VO and they will give you another 30 days by the responding mail to submit the passport to the new VO
