Hello Seniors,

I have one doubt. I have sent my CSE on email ID CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca. someone also shared a link where you can file online CSE.
are both method correct? I have not filled online CSE but sent 2 emails asking status of my app at a interval of 1 month but still no reply.

Please guide.

Not sure if it's worth easing CSE, 20 days today and nothing heard back from CPC yet

I thought it was 20 working days, not 20 days i.e. about a month.

Email is an email. For CSE you need to use the webform. There is no other way.

The normal way to send the CSE is to fill out the form at: https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=ottawa Unfortunately, I could not get this to work. When I filled out the form, I was getting an IIS error regarding an Address parameter not being there.

I ended up doing the CSE at https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx Other people on this forum told me that they would forward it to the CPC-O

Hospital that did my medicals told me that they have uploaded e-medical results on 12-Jan-2015. And the FBI PCC/RPRF receipts I mailed to Ottawa also reached CPC-O on 12-JAN-2015. Its more than a week and I don't see the third line updated in my ECAS. is this normal? should I be worried ?.. anyone else in this situation. Let me know. Thanks

3rd Line(Medicals Results Received) updated in my ECAS this morning. Now the wait for PPR starts .. Hope everyone waiting for 3rd line update and PPR will get them soon.. All the best!!!

I did also receive request for PCC and renewed passport copies for my kids and spouse from CPO Ottawa yesterday 29/01/2015 and I have been given 60 days to submit them. Well on one hand its good news since it shows my application is still being worked on and moving forward but its also a bump since it take approximately 60 days +/- to renew my family passports from my country. Secondly I have to get PCC for the two countries I have been and lived which is quite a challenge given that I have been in Canada for a while. Another issue worth mentioning and probably ask the seniors who have successfully gone through this process is that they want me to show proof of funds yet am already in Canada on a work permit with with a full time permanent job that pays well.....and even cic website states that you don't have to show proof of fund if you already in Canada on a work permit and working. On my application I attached all my pay tubs and letter from my employer that states what I make.....I find it quite contradictory since proof of fund is to show your capacity to settle in Canada which I have already done the fact that I have a work permit and already been working for one and a half years, has medical insurance, has a baby born here and for all intent and purposes we have already integrated into the society.
My time line is as follows

If you have not applied through arranged employment, then you have to show proof of funds. I was asked to send that as well. My wife and I both have very good permanent jobs but they insisted I send poof of funds. It was after I sent it that I got my medical request. And please, when you are ask to send stuffs, just send it cos you have no option. Here is my timeline, hope that helps

Hello Seniors and Experts

I am a FSW-2014 applicant with CPC-Ottawa as the VO. Yesterday I received Medical Request form for only myself and none of the family members. Shall i wait for MR for my dependents? Do they send separate emails for each member in the application? Should I raise a query with CPC on this? My family members gave the medicals in Sep, 2013 and then the same medicals were forwarded to CPC in Feb, 2014 when i applied for an extension of their TRV. My application reached CIC on May 23, 2014

Please guide me here as they have given me only 30 days to complete the formalities

AN UPDATE FOR THOSE WAITING FOR THE 3RD LINE:

my ECAS 3rd line added on January 29. Medical done on January 13 and the result was submitted on January 15, 2015.

Mine took two weeks after the Doctor's office confirmed the submission is completed (eMedical). Between 14-20 days seems normal. Although based on the SS there are some applicants still waiting for the 3rd line even after two month.
