Suno,
Thanks for the information yaar. But my precise questions and answers for them are not answered, can you answer for those precise queries. The plan is my wife(appicant) will drop me(co-applicant) and return. My first query, how long she has to stay for completing all the formalities before she can leave me there and return.
Or is there a possibility that co-applicant can alone travel first time to canada that would be even better option for me.
please answer precise queris...dmac11 or ksa, if you know the info pls tell us as well.

The Main applicant (wife) needs to land first in Canada or both of you together land. Dependents (you or your kids) cannot land in Canada first before the Main applicant. This is the rules CIC has set.

Hope this helps bro

Dear friends,

Got PER and a story to share which kept me tensed for a long time. To cut long story short, my PER email was received on 3rd of Dec but was with my consultant and one of the executives who was responsible for sending it to me didn't send it. :o

So here is timeline

Application received: 13th Aug
DD charged: 18th Nov (As per Bank)

My heartiest thanks to all forum-friends, especially, dmac11, parrys198, PGS77, mr.gk, determination,yogeshladani,pandu123,immigcan81,skepar, who helped me to keep my calm in last 25 days. :D

Cheers!!!

The good news finally arrives brother.. your first +1 from me.. Congratulations and all the best.

Exactly my query......
I am changing my job next feb or march, and I would not like to leave it for couple of years if possible.
So in between when I get Visa issued then how could I deal with this situation!!!
I could stay for a month at most and would need to return.

Hi there,

Oh, i think i understand regarding your query. For those i have read in the global forum. Most of them suggest, if your in this kind of situation. You can land in Canada within the validity of your VISA stamped on passport. After completing the formalities, you should be able to provide them a residential address in Canada (relative or friend perhaps) so they can mail you your PR card which usually sent within 3months time.

You can leave Canada 1 or 2weeks time upon landing to return to your country to continue working. Don't have any issue on that. However, your relative or friend who will be receiving your PR card should courier it to you in your home country. Coz it is the only thing you can present to the immigration officer for re-entry and when you plan to move back to Canada for good.

Hope this helps :)

You can claim if you meet the following coditions.

You can apply for EI benefits if you have paid into the EI account and you are unemployed.

You can receive regular benefits if you lost your job through no fault of your own, for example, due to shortage of work, seasonal or mass lay-offs.

# You can receive compassionate care benefits if you have to be away from work temporarily to provide care or support to a family member who is gravely ill with a significant risk of death.

# You can receive fishing benefits if you are a person engaged in fishing

# You can also receive maternity, parental and/or sickness benefits if pregnant, caring for a newborn or adopted child or sick.

However donot expect any benefits until you have worked and contributed. Many people understand they can apply for this benefit soon after landing in Canada.Thats a wrong conception.

Thanks brother for clarifying.. +1 to you

SBI don't worry. I think you are still in the game especially because something which is true when it comes to the processing of Canada application is - No news is a good news :)
