Doe's anyone have any idea about the Christmas holiday duration?

My information is based on holidays schedule of University of Toronto. Like CIC it is also a public organization.

Last working day before Christmas: Friday, 19th Dec, 2014
First working day after Christmas: Mon, 05th Jan, 2015

So the days in between, nobody will be at the CIC office.. How will it be for applicants that are intending to send their package at this times. Example.. packages that supposed to arrive at CIC-CIO at December 29th, just to make it for the last batch of FSW2014..

Any thoughts?

Sorry but this is wrong. Academic break has nothing to do with Federal Govt., breaks. Only Dec., 25/26 and Jan., 01 will be off.

Probably you will get per in the 1st week of Dec, in optimistic perspective. Mine is Aug 22 and I wish for Dec 5th.

Dear all, The NOC 1212 is in both cat. Cec and FSW. So this really matters about NOC that we have to put right NoC.I gone through many blogs and cic website the case officer see your NOC to find out your job responsibilities as same as it is mentionedin NOC and sometimes case officer dont actually gives shit about that NOC written is comes under CEC or FSW.They just care about canadian labour industry and are you capable for Canada.If anyone have info regarding working method of CIc please share. Cheers

I saw a CC debit update on SS for 28th July.. Dont know if it is an error.. In case it s true, we should be expecting a debit in a week to 10 days time..
