New to the forums.

Im an August applicant. They received my application on August 6. Feeling anxious as November might be the month I hear good or bad news. Hopefully its the former. Fingers crossed!!!

I am too new to this forum.

My app was received on 5th Aug by CIC, but i have a question that i forgot to mention my number of working hours on my documents my NOC is 0112 (HR), so would it lead to a bad news or i have some alternative, Kindly suggest as i have no idea what to do at this point of time.???

Mostly they contact through email. Dont think it ll be a big problem.. there r ppl in this forum who made bigger mistakes but still got PER.

If they stated you were full time I would not see a problem , there has been cases where ppl couldnt get hours description and they got granted, moreover, they want to see if duties match with NOC code . Stay positive my friend , CC/DD coming soon for august ;D

My information is based on holidays schedule of University of Toronto. Like CIC it is also a public organization.

Last working day before Christmas: Friday, 19th Dec, 2014
First working day after Christmas: Mon, 05th Jan, 2015

A university calendar takes the students holiday into cognizance. The staff will still be at work. Except for 23 to 27 and 30 to 2 jan 2015. Canada is too serious minded to give 2 weeks holiday at a stretch for other organizations.
