You are sure yours says IN PROCESS???
I've read some people saying IN PROGRESS so I was thinking that IN PROCESS means the desicion is not made, once it is made it goes to IN PROGRESS and IN PROGRESS means PER.

As i have rcvd PER and it shows "in process". then "in progress" might be just completeness check done.. Not sure bro but this is my interpretation. seniors can comment.

What is your mode of payment. If CC by end of November itself your CC should have charged, If it is DD then the only way to know check with the bank who issued DD that whether it is encashed. If no information then you have to wait till PER mail. Keep faith yaar you will hear positive news very soon

Just got a confirmation that my DD was encashed on Nov 26 for the application that reached on Aug 27, NOC 1224. Now the wait for the PER.

amro - I sent you PM. it is "in process" (when I checked first time it was in progress) and when I clicked on "in process" it took me to second page which says...we have received your application ......".

I tried to call CIC on 18882422100 to get info about my FSW application.
The agent told me it is out of their scope, something about them being not responsible for FSW and that I will need to call CIC in nova scotia?

I've read tons of replays how memebers were able to get info about their status? Am I doing something wrong? :-X

Mine was received August 27th and am yet to hear from CIO also, my BD for payment is not yet cleared as advised by my bank. What time frame do we have on this? Have we actually been accepted as I have not received any returned package or rejection email from the office.
I have a feeling we might start receiving the response after it ends this December. What do you all reckon?

Hi all,
my first post here. My application was submitted on 27 August and havent heard from CIC anything but looking at the posts here, I am hoping to get a reply this week or latest next week (i..e before 20 December). My payment was made by my brother's (who is already a Canadian PR) friend in Canada and have yet to check with him whether his cc was charged.

All the best to all the friends who have already received their PER and my pray with the people who are waiting for their PER. It will happen
