I am 1980 born + my SSC certificate (Maharashtra board) contains my DoB only but not my parents name. So an affidavit is must in my case.

I am not pessimistic, but in case if my application is rejected this time I will re-apply under EOI-2015.

Ok......... Besides, X th certificate will carry only fathers name but not mother's..,,,
In your case..... You need to get your birth certificate from your place...... Get it translated......on translator's letter head with his registration .,..... Get it notarised and forward it to CIC along with explanation note...

Thgt will check next week, since DD takes time unlike CC...

Well the cap on 2134 have reached and my cc is uet not charged application recd at cic was 20 jan 14. What's your opinion that am I still in the race to get cc charged and hope for per.

We have no control on what have happened will have to wait for EOI 2015..... well missing by a wisker margin of one week really pinch... anyways let god decide the best for us and we keep doing our action...

are sent back...... No need to worry...... Do not be confirmed as CAP filled because not even a single one can say that someone's fate. Except CIC........ Whatever you listen to now is either guess or anticipations......... Be positive....

Thanks for boosting our confidence, I am also not loosing hope as my logic says how can 64 application per or cc can charged within 5 working days for 2134 and if look petroleum engg it changed from 15 to 160 in the same time period...

hence I feel something different approach by cic when making the CAP.

I may be wrong but don't loose hope till you hear from CIC

can you share your opinion on the same

One correction Swapnil! In case of Petroleum Engineers, the number increased from 6 to 116 and not 15 to 160 (I know, the later info was provided by me casually, sorry)
