dear members i want to share my experience with you, today we submitted our passports at the vac Amman, it was an easy process and there is a fee charge of 38.10 JD= $53.74 for each passport, they told us that the processing time to stamp the visa is 30 days, i told them that in the email we received the processing time is 10 days to stamp the visa!!! they told me this is the old time frame and the new time frame is 30 days.

hi mj.sb , first congratulations for the long waited ppr , i was really thrilled to know that u finally got it , now regarding the new time frame and the old one DONT BELIEVE them mj they always tend to tell these things to ppl although not true ,for us the fees were paid either thursday or sunday dunno exactly but on sunday i used the tracking no. and i found that VAC already sent the passports on the same day to the embassy for visa stamping although i expected one or two days delay only for this step , so accordingly i guess next week we will get the passports back so its around the 10 days time frame , but i have a question which VAC u applied for in tla3 al ali or univesity street ? coz there is two ? and i dont know if one is faster than the other :

Thank you dear, i hope it will not take that long as they said, actually there is only on vac it's between telaa alali and university street
Today i checked the status with the tracking no. And they allready sent the passports for the embassy

Now i checked my ecs and it changed from in process to decision made but when i click on the link still shows medical has been received

i guess after landing and after recieving pr cards then it changes into complete ,this is supposed to be the real ending of the journey , btw u r right its only one VAC in amman , i got confused because of the passports submission email, it gives details for amman VAC and erbil VAC and the funny thing is that erbil VAC is in a building called tlaa al ali building as mentioned in the email , but i thought that there is a separate VAC for iraqi passports , i was wrong ;D

Did someone say Erbil? I didn't know there was a VAC in Erbil! That actually worries me because it's incredibly difficult to get into Erbil even though I'm already living in Sulaymaniyah. Will they give me a choice of VAC when they send the PPR?

İn their email they mentioned that we can submit or send our passports to amman vac or erbil vac, if it is hard for you to go to erbil you can send the passports by courier

yes indeed , im done , the authorized person recieved our passports for us in amman and sent them via aramex , waiting now for them, so i guess its gonna take 1 week also with u , although planning to land in april to avoid harsh ontario winter, its still a lovely feeling to have the visa with u not waiting for it to happen .

So it took them around 1 week since they recieved the payment?

Could I ask you how much time did it take in Amman VO to get the visa Stamped on the passports? Should it be always done through VAS? or the passport could be directly delivered to the embassy in Amman?

It will be highly beneficial for me to know these information beforehand despite the fact that it is still too early to reach that stage of processing.

hello dear, i didn't received my passport yet, did you received yours ?
today i called the vac in Amman because it has been 12 days since they received our passports she told me it could it take up to 30 working days or more!!!! my ecas status has changed to decision made since November 5th but still i didn't get back my passport

hello dear, i know how painful is to wait, hope you will hear good news soon. you can't send your passport directly to the embassy you should do it through the VAC, about how long it take to stamp the visa in my case i submitted our passports on November 4th & till now i didn't received them back, today i called the VAC in Amman & asked about the processing time & I've been told that the new time line is 30 working days or more, the lady said some people are getting their passports back in 2 or 5 days and some in 30. because i'm an Iraqi nationality so they asked me to submit all my original IDS, i can't stay without any ID , the lady at the VAC advised me to send them an email but i will wait another 2 days so it will be 2 weeks and i will send them an email.
