hello dear, i know how painful is to wait, hope you will hear good news soon. you can't send your passport directly to the embassy you should do it through the VAC, about how long it take to stamp the visa in my case i submitted our passports on November 4th & till now i didn't received them back, today i called the VAC in Amman & asked about the processing time & I've been told that the new time line is 30 working days or more, the lady said some people are getting their passports back in 2 or 5 days and some in 30. because i'm an Iraqi nationality so they asked me to submit all my original IDS, i can't stay without any ID , the lady at the VAC advised me to send them an email but i will wait another 2 days so it will be 2 weeks and i will send them an email.

Hello dear Mishati, No news for us, FSWs who are waiting MRs, unfortunately. :'( :'( :'(

Could I ask you how much time did it take in Amman VO to get the visa Stamped on the passports? Should it be always done through VAS? or the passport could be directly delivered to the embassy in Amman?

It will be highly beneficial for me to know these information beforehand despite the fact that it is still too early to reach that stage of processing.

hi ss66 , sorry for being late , as mj said before u have to submit pp to VAC only , and for us it took almost 1 week to get the visa stamped , for bucharest vo i really dont get it why they r not sending MRs , why its taking this long to process the applications , christmas is ahead and they should speed up the things before the holidays , anyway no one knows whats next , maybe once they send MRs and recieve them back they will send pprs at once , everything is possible or at least i hope so for u and others

I think there is no news at all. this silence is driving us crazy in the way that I think we may start losing our minds and mental well-beings, but if it's any consolation, Canada has highly-equipped mental health care facilties and will treat us for sure.

Bucharest VO is still in deep sleep although other VOs started to send MRs to the remaining FSW2014 applicants.

I wonder what kind of work they are currently doing, and when our turn (Oct, Nov and Dec FSWs) will come???

Yeah, it's crazy. I'm a July '14 applicant and haven't received PPR yet. At this point I'm actually worried about having to do the medical test again because it expires end of March. Does any one know if the expiry of the medical test can cause a few more months delay? Would I be able to renew the visa if the remaining time after I receive the passports isn't enough to prepare for travel?

I thought Bucharest VO has almost concluded all files belonging to FSWs2014 of September and the preceding months, but it seems that my guess is not right as you are a July applicant and still waiting too.

In regard to the expiration of MR, I am not sure but I think if they intend to send PPR, and the MR is about to expire (in less than 2 months), they will let the applicant choose whether they repeat the medical assessment before submitting the passport, or submit it and get the visa with the minimal valdity if they can manage to land before the visa expiry date.

Anyway, have you tried to contact the VO regarding this delay? If yes, what was their response?
