I think there will be no harmful effect at all. Many members sent inquiring emails and nothing went in the wrong direction. Contrarily, other friends will tell you that the email worked as a reminder and enticed a quick response by the officers.. in your case, you are not sending emails everyday... It is just one email after unjustifiable long waiting for PPR... It will be at least a reminder for them to move further.mj.sb said:

no dear , i didnt contact them at all , never during the whole process , even if were in need for something our rep would contact them not us , but i remember that the lawyer ( in quebec) advised us not to contact them at all for whatever the situation is , he said they tend to delay those files , so i dont know mj if its right to contact them now or not , if i were in ur place i will give them 1 more week to send the ppr before sending them , at least they r working now on our files , im expecting a shower of MRs and pprs in the coming 2 weeks , i hope my guess is right :dr tarekk said:

It says "Your application is currently pending the officer`s assessment". Last email from June their response was "Your application is pending the completion of routine security verifications". That's a step forward I guess
