Hello everybody! ;D
Yesterday I got back my passport along with my CoPR! I applied in June 06/14. I guess my application was quick because I'd applied under FSW as well. However, my CEC application was approved first. I was one of those candidates who forgot to declare about my USA visa rejection on the background declaration. I informed CIC after I received my AOR & PER for both the applications. So for everyone who is or has been in the same situation as I was in, please inform CIC as soon as you can and don't worry about it :)
I wish everyone a successful and less stressful PR journey.
Good luck folks!
Cheers
Hope1957 :)

Congrats and +1 to you !!

As the primary applicant I know that I can land by myself and go back for my family and have them land later but what would I show as proof of income if I land first? proof of income for just myself or for the entire family?

if at all asked it will be for the whole family, even if you travel alone initially.

Also, since I have a visitors visa, can I travel on that to do interviews and then return for my family when settled and do landing together with them??

How much Canadian dollar can be taken from India ? Is there any limitation in Indian airports ? Can we convert Indian currency to CAD and go to airport or Can we convert it from airport itself ?

Please suggest.

Friends,

I am posting this question for the third time now.

No reply in last 2 occasions. :( . Maybe because this is a unique case.

Here is my case.

My company has requested for my travel abroad for project work at the earliest. Now I have got my PPR and my wife is 2 months pregnant.

I would like to declare the pregnancy while sending the passport via VFS. (NOTE: My wife is advised to avoid travel until pregnancy)

Question 1: Will declaring the pregnancy cause any delay in NDVO stamping the passport? Will they ask to wait till the baby is born?
I have asked the question to NDVO as well couple of days back, but I am pretty sure, I wont get response by today.

Question 2: Is there any fast track in VFS as I see that passport gets stamped in X day, but gets back to the applicant in X+10 days.
Can this be avoided? Is travelling to Delhi personally of any help?

Really appreciate a speedy reply.

Thanks
Vinodh
