I have received my MR, PCC & RPRF request on 13-March.

Now my question is....

My baby will start school in April. His academic year will ends in March-2016. But academic year in Canada will start in September. II am working in Dubai. So I cannot able to land in Canada by Sep-2015. I can land in December only.
Now is there any possibility that If I & my family can land in Canada in 2015-July/August. Comeback within 15 days. My relatives will receive our PR CARD. We will collect in India & will fly back to Canada in March/April 2016. My son will start his school in september-2016.

(1) Is it possible to do as mentioned above ?
(2) if yes, then if my Dubai VISA is not cancelled, will they create any problem on Canada airport ?

I've got my second line updated to read as follows:"we have started processing your application on 20 Feb 2015" . However, i have already received MR, RPRF and PCC since 22 Jan and which i have already submitted beginning February 2015. Is it possible to have the second line updated after receiving MR , RPRF and PCC? What i mean is that can they start processing the application after sending the above requests?

i'm still waiting for passport request and it's now more than one month since i sent all the required docs. . Any idea how long i'll still have to wait? my visa office is Pretoria

Once you land, you are a Permanent Resident. Yes, it starts from the day you land, even if you don't have the PR card in hand.....but please keep in mind, for re-entry, you do need the PR card.

rejiss is right. A small addition. Re entry by road to Canada is possible without PR card and even by flight, some documentation with the home country Canadian VO can allow you re entry, but is tedious and best avoided.

Dear all,

My wife's chest x-ray showed a minimal scar at the upper corner with both radyologist's and the physician's comment of "no furtherence needed".
She had no history of TB.
I was afraid of request for additional test. Today my ECAS status changed to "we received your medical results".
Does it mean we passed the medical stage?

1 - You can do that. Complete your landing, apply for SIN, apply for Health Card, open up a bank account etc.. then go back to Dubai. Tell your relatives to bring it to India or send with other person (do not mail it or courier it as its risky) and then after collecting it you can re-enter Canada.
FYI: By doing that you will just waste your 7-8 months of PR status. To maintain PR status you have to be in Canada physically for atleast 2 out of 5 years as per current guidelines.

2- As far as I know Dubai Visa cancelation has nothing to do with Canada Immigration. They don't really care if your visa for any country is valid or cancelled.

Re entry by road to Canada( via US-Canada land border in Private vehicle only) is possible without PR card and even by flight (only for people coming from Visa exempt countries; if you are from Non - Visa exempt country then you will need Travel Document), some documentation with the home country Canadian VO can allow you re entry, but is tedious and best avoided.

They already started processing your application and you were found eligible so that's why they requested MR, RPRF and PCC. Without processing they wont send you such request. Be happy you are almost through.

Quick question.

I am submitting my FBI clearance certificate today and that is the final document I have to send. Now, we are expecting our baby number 2 in July at what point in time I should tell Visa officer about it?

Will they make decision on my case before my child is born or they will defer the decision after my child is born?

E-cas 3rd line updated on 5th Jan 2015.

While I still am trying to understand the file. The latest note entry on 9th Feb say's " File requested for RFV check"

Does that imply that the VO has asked for a second opinion on the case?
How frequent is this?

I believe RFV is Ready for Visa email (PPR)

Nitin, just FYI, although the academic year starts in September every year, you can admit your child as soon as you land except for July and August as it is vacation. You don't have to wait till September for admission. Immigrants are allowed admission to schools throughout the year.
