Hi Guys

your suggestions required
How easy is it to get a JOB in Canada if we are searching for job from India?
Is it easy to get job being physically present in Canada?

I am into IT(2173) and my Friend is in Finance (1112)
Which part of Canada is suited for both of us? We are planning to land in Canada together and stay so financially the cost will be less.

Hi All,

Got MR mail couple of minutes back.

Please advise:

1. Should i wait for 2 weeks to do the medicals as I smoke sometime and just do not want this thing to hamper anything in medical.
2. should i inform the medical officer if he asks for smoking habits.

Appreciate your advice..

Regards

First of all congratulations :)

They will do blood tests and chest X-Rays .. I think 2 weeks is a long time plus they don't have any problem with the person who smokes ,.. I do not know much about medical things but if you consider that something will come in your blood test then drink lots and lots of water for few days .. one week is a good enough time..

They do not ask you generally for these things .. they will ask if you had Any major disease like TB etc.

Don't worry you are fine .. :)

COngrat's GinCan !!

It seems my assumption holds true.
By that logic even papmanindia should be sharing his COPR news today.

All the best with your landing.

Thank you bro for the correct prediction :)

Yes, i hope PapMan and other fellow friends who submitted on March 2nd and are in process should come up with happy news today.

Cheers,
GinCan

Congrats to you.
Finally NDVO is sending MR's, that's good.

Smoke has no affect on the tests as long as it hasent cause irreversible damage to your body.
I am a regular smoker and think my meds went fine.

My suggestion, dont wait. The sooner you get through MR, the sooner the wondow of PPR opens.

All the best.

I agree with this suggestion ...

It will have no effect .. Do it soon so as to get PPR soon :)

All the best :)

I am in that category and no I dont see 2 addresses.

I see same addresses under current and mailing! I have not provided two different addresses in my application!

It's quite puzzling although both of your files are in the same Visa Office!

CanDoIt, can you share, is the address for you Outside Canada?
Mine is Montreal.

Hi GinCan
When was your status changed to Passport Dispatched and when did you collect it from VFS

Today morning 11 AM IST i got an email from VFS that passport has been dispatched and the status changed at that time too.

I submitted in person on March 2nd and got it today.

Gulbadan, i know you have submitted on Feb27. I am sure you will get it shortly in a day or so. Some cases might take longer since the visa officer who handled your case prepares your COPR. So, there are many factors like work load on that visa officer, officer on holiday etc.

No one has reported any complication after PPR and decision made. So just be a little more patient, i am sure you will be sharing the good news to forum in a day or so..

Nevertheless, you are in our prayers.

-GinCan
