Dear members need your help
I got my second line updated today( we started processing your application on march 5) what dose that mean and what should I expect next?

This means a Visa Officer has started evaluating your file. He/she will for the last time check if your work exp and points are sufficient to qualify for PR. If all goes well (which in most cases does) you should receive an MR and RPRF request soon!

But I have not sent updated docs. I have just asked what documents need to be sent for Employment change??

Hi, you will not get a confirmation of updation. Ref the NDVO CSE page, scroll to the bottom and ref last para.

HSBC categorically mentions that account can be opened before landing in Canada.

Hi Everyone..

Seniors please advice..

It's been around 109 days I received PER and its been 47 days since my second line has updated. No MR yet. No verification done. Don't know what to do? How far the GCMS notes are helpful? Shall I go for CSE or GCMS notes or just wait? Many other July applicants have started receiving PPRs.

Please share your opinions and guidance

Thanks,
Rpchugh.

Hope they reply back soon. TAT can be 4 weeks and upward.

Ideally, scanned copies of you last employer releiving letter and current employers joining letter with a covering note in the CSE should suffice.
If later the need any additional forms to be populated, they will reach out to you.
If they dont, its safe to assume that they are sorted.

Should I raise another CSE attaching these documents or wait for reply of first CSE ?

Below is the order -

PER (Sent by CIO- Nova scotia post initial screening of you application)
eCAS 1st Line - We have received you application on xxxx (Corresponding entry post PER)
AOR (Sent by your local VISA office post physical file is received. Not send by all VO's though)
eCAS 2nd Line - We have started processing you application on xxxx (A Visa officer starts working on your file)
eCAS 3rd Line - We have received medicals (After the above line, once the VO is satisfied with all the docs, he will issue you medical request, post completion this line is updated)
eCAS 4th Line - A decision has been made, VO will contact. (Here the processing has ended and hopefully next you receive is Passport request for Visa)

Thanks.. In my ECAS my status is IN PROCESS is it considered 2nd line? Since I received my PER already?

What should I wait to come first? 2nd line or MR?

Scotia bank of Canada has two branches . one each at NEW DELHI and Mumbai. Can any forum member in these cities check with the bank for account opening before landing in Canada?

Please post your comments for benefit of all members.

If the account opening in really not possible ,the other way is to carry a mix of CAD in cash,dd,traveller cheque.

I already received the RPRF request in the PER email, I paid the RPRF fees and sent the receipt to my VO and all the documents they requested. I only have one document that I didn't send (the FBI PCC) but I sent a proof to them that I applied.
I hope I receive the MR request soon

In that case you should receive MR soon and you WILL also receive PCC request along with MR and sometimes they provide only 30 days so keep your PCC ready, if it's not already.

Also make sure you've got at least 14 months left in your passport expiry date, otherwise VO may ask for a renewed one!

Good luck!
