Yeah this may be true, as you are already there in Canada. And the number of days I've written were the numbers provided by my consultant over here in India.

If you ask your friend in canada .you will be charged CAD 5. If you order through agency ,they are charging CAD 25 to 40.you have to authorise a agency or friend by filling a form.Just google GCMS CANADA ,you wull get the agencies doing this work.

Thanx

Hey buddy - This is just a routine system change. A lot of people on this forum saw that their current addresses got updated in ecas. Nothing to worry.
Good luck!

Dear friends

Today I got DM (no PPR). I am the one of the first lucky to hear from WVO. I hope that Warsaw has speed up processing for all the applicants.

I would have never reached to this status without this forum and the assistance and help of the forumees. You are like big bros whom I could always turn for advice. Thank you for your contribution and great idea to help each other.

Congrats and +1 to you !!

Hello,

If you'r residing in canada, You don't require US B1/B2 visa to validate the PR. While entering the US border, you can inform them about the PR & they will provide you one form to fill up.And ask you to make return from US to canada border.

Recently one of my friend who is currenlty living in canada with valid work permit/TRV done the same thing.

Thanks,
Kavitha A

Thanks for sharing. That's called flagpoling. +1 to you.

2014 December Applicants like me did not have the visa office choice in application form.

I got PER and as expected, the email does not contain any link to or mentioning of visa office name.

Should I send a query now to CIC asking them whereabouts of my application?

Can any expert please tell me the following:
1) There was no column to choose the Visa Office in the application form so I could not select a visa office .The PER mail also does not tell me about which Visa office my application will be sent to ?? How and when will I know about my Visa office ?
2) Seniors I have not yet applied for a Police clearance Certificate. I am in US currently Is It a good time to apply for a Police clearance certificate ?
3) What will be the next steps going forward?

Please guide

Check immediately with Citi whether your international credit limit is set up for higher amounts.

Thanks CanOI & xman

Checked with my bank. There is no limit on international transaction. Whatever limit the card has that will be applicable so its way beyond the CIC fees. Not to worry.

Also i have informed them there might a transaction of CAD 1400 in the coming days and not to block it in any ways.

Cheers

Friends,

Can someone confirm if Work Experience / background verification is done before MR or after that?

Thanks

Generally, BG check done before MR and Criminality check after MR.

How do you got to know about your PER, i hope through E-mail, right? At this stage, you have to wait for MR. You dont have to do anything. Just wait and watch.
