Hi All,

I have submitted my passport to VFS and am waiting for the COPR.

I want to remove my consultant's access to my profile, and update CIC with my mailing address and email id. How can i do that?

Please help.

Thanks.

You can change mailing address online at client status page. For email address change you have to send email to NDVO.

Hi People,

Need some inputs on the below. I Have received PPR request and plan to travel in the summer

My spouse has completed her BCOM + MBA Finance masters from MUMBAI, INDIA. Now is it necessary for me to get her credentials evaluated for her to get a job. I know its recommended but I am confused on the type of evaluation that will be needed. Can I proceed with the same FSW evaluation by WES. Suggestions will be appreciated

regards

Credential evaluation won't make much of a difference when you apply for jobs to be honest. For entry level jobs, usually there are aptitude tests and interviews to go thru. I would advice you to invest in improving her English first thing after landing. Even if she is good at English, there is a difference in accent, and it's a different ball game when it comes to speaking English language in an English speaking country because people spot even minor mistakes you make and you feel that people are noticing your lack of English skills. Of course, if you've lived in any English speaking country before then you would know this very well!

Also invest in getting some sort of local certificate or degree. That would make a much bigger difference than ECA. If she manages to find a job before finishing a course, then great, if she doesn't then at least she wouldn't end up wasting time!

If you are confused on this, it would be better if you just obtain the transcripts from the universities and if need be in the future, you can get her credentials evaluated from within Canada.

Hello folks,

As some of you know, Mexico VO doesn't send AORs. But I checked my ECAS yesterday, and I saw that they updated it including my home address as an addition to my mailing address.

When I clicked on "In process" it remains that we received your application on xxxx.

Does this update mean anything? Should I expect my MR soon?

Thanks for your help

Hi Friends,
I paid for GCMS notes through visafile.info, then proceeded to create Paypal account. When I came back the link to proceed with the request became disabled. Have emailed to info@visafile.info with the receipt number. Have anyone faced a similar issue? Any alternate action need to be taken? Please reply.

Same thing has happened to me, but seems to be that we just have to keep waiting.

Patience is the key...

Well said...I second that, obtain transcripts from university and keep it handy. You can evaluate credentials when and if required. It wont do any harm if you evaluate though. But what is more important once you land in Canada is to take up any course depending on the field you wish to enter, like, if u are into accounts field then accounting packages like quickbooks, simply accounting, accpac, peachtree, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll etc would surely help you in landing at a job. Ofcourse english speaking skills with proper accent is a necessity. Hope this helps!!
