Is there anybody in the forum who submitted passport thru any other means than VFS (Courier or speed post) and received passport back with visa?
If so, could you please PM me?

Do we have to submit our cancelled passports as well? My earlier passport was cancelled due to correction in surname

Agree, I also feel there may be lot of candidates who followed the forum and updated profile till getting PPR and this way it may not be reflecting right status. Requesting all to update it as that helps others in queue.

I submitted my PP at VFS on 27th.. I got a similar message on 28th..
I am guessing, that Bangalore VO might be taking up the Visa Stamping...
If someone who has their visa stamped and sent the PP through VFS, please comment...

No need to submit your cancelled PP. read the PPR letter saying VALID pp TO BE SUBMITTED.

You can send through currier. if you are out side of your country, you have to get approval from your Indian embassy of your residence country to send your PP to India. otherwise it is illegal.
