Thanks Vind,

So then i wonder what is taking time for the MR to be issued considering that it is 16 days since second line.

Regards

They perform various checks like documents veification, education, employement etc and if required they perform tele/physical verifications.

Rest sometimes they might be flying paper planes to pass time :P :P

Hi all,,

Did anyone else notice the addition of "Your current home address" in ECAS system. For me, till yesterday it was only one box showing my current mailing address, just today i saw another box added with current home address details. However, the status is same as before (we recieved your app....) .. Have they started working on my file?

Thanks and Best Regards.

I think you should wait for the email from NDVO before sending out any fees, the email I asked you to send is just to inform them that your wife and baby can appear for a medicals, more of a reminder email.

But I think sending fees and forms without their requirement might not be the right way to deal, it might upset your VO. ??? ??? Better wait for their call.

Thank you very much for the crucial information shared by you. Highly obliged with your information :) :) :)

Dear members,

Can anybody answer these?
1. If someone is in USA and got PPR of canada, but cant leave US for another one year then what should be done to get PR card?
You just need to sort out the Landing papers after Visa Stamping before the Visa expires

2. Should I go to canada for 1 or 2 day for stamping n entry date and then come back to US. Can I do this?
Yes you can do that, but you will need to provide an Canadian address for PR card to be delivered and also get a temp travel document for you to come back

3. If the PPR is single entry, then once I leave canada hiw will I re enter?
PPR is passport request and the visa stamping is Valid for One year from your Medicals, so you will need to complete the landing formalities within that Time frame

4. Do I have to stay in canada for 2 months to get PR card in my hand.
No need to stay in Canada, you can provide your relative/friends address for PR card to be delivered and after that collect from him

Please help...m confused
Thanks

Dear CanOl,

Hope you're doing well!

Im in dire need of help, i'm very very confused... i got my PER on Jan 2 (couldnt update SS bcoz of work and marriage)... and then i recd. an email from Visa Section in Warsaw Poland confirming they recd. my application (again confused) i mentioned NDVO as my VO in my application.... i just got married on 8th feb and i have no idea what all i need to do now to add my wife to the application...i also need to change just my residence address (mailing address is still the same)..... please help i beg.... i will be immensly greatful to you....

Regards, AC

like many of us here, including me, your application too will be processed now by Warsaw and not new Delhi, due to heavy load on new Delhi.

There's no need to panic. To add your wife, you may have to raise cse and send her scanned docs as well as hard copies to warsaw vo. These docs will include revised generic form, schedule 3 and schedule A, her travel details, additional fees, dependents details, personal docs and passports, pcc, etc. Also mention your revised address in the form.

Will be slightly cumbersome, but end result will be worth the effort put in.

Dear Mates please can someone help me understand the Processing times shown on CIC website?

I find a dash - against the times of some visa offices in the table.does this mean these visa offices have never processed such applications and that is why CIC doesnt have any data to that or what can explain this situation.

i realised a huge number of visa offices have the dash( -) example of these visa offices for FSWP are

Amman – Jordan
Beirut – Lebanon
Dakar – Senegal
Rabat – Morocco
Islamabad – Pakistan
Bogota - Colombia
Buenos Aires - Argentina
Guatemala City – Guatemala
Lima – Peru
Port-au-Prince – Haiti
Santiago – Chile
Santo Domingo – Dominican Republic

these are the visa office that donot have processing times against their names on the CIC table.does this means they will take a longer time to process applications or a longer time.i will be happy to have an insight to this.

thanks

For PPR, you may have to come to the particular VO for stamping (e.g. NDVO).

2. Should I go to canada for 1 or 2 day for stamping n entry date and then come back to US. Can I do this?
You can land in Canada (by air) or go to a nearby land border. Do immigration and then fly back to US. That's what I plan to do

3. If the PPR is single entry, then once I leave canada hiw will I re enter?
You need the PR card. But you can also apply for Travel Document. Read this : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5529ETOC.asp

4. Do I have to stay in canada for 2 months to get PR card in my hand.
If you have someone (friend, family) then give their address. Once they receive it, they can send it from Canada to US via courier.

Please help...m confused
Thanks

It means that they haven't done any type of selected visa in our case FWS.
