Ahh ... now I cracked the code. Right now there is one line stating that "we received your application on so and so that". Second line added means that "we have started processing your file". I assume that by this time they have transferred file to local/remote visa office for background checks.

So, we get AOR email before second line update?

Thank you, George!

Hi.
NDVO don't send a AOR. But if it is transfered to some other visa office to reduce the load then you may get an AOR.

Hi Guys!

An update on my application....

Application received- 22 Oct 14
CC charged -24 Dec 14.
No PER.

ECAS STATUS CAME ALIVE on Jan 19, however disappeared after a week.

I called CIC to get an update on my application. They asked for various verifications like UCI #, email address, same of spouse, date of birth of child etc.

After a long hold, I was informed that my application was returned on Jan 29. The reason is stated in the returned file. ( they didn't provide the reason over the phone.) And they said that the money will be returned in 8-10 weeks.

So there is a possibility of rejection after payment charged and ECAS status going alive....

PS-This is not to put anyone's morale low, but a helpful information for waiting applicants.

ALL THE BEST!!!!

Yes, if you are the only person in the application.

Dear Friends,

I am a regular follower of this forum and i have an question i applied in NOC 1114 .

My file reached to CIC on 9 Sept and got PER on 20th Jan waiting for MR.Now i have total 10 years of banking experience and presently working in Bank as BM.

I have contacted some of my friends who are there in CANADA since last 4 to 5 years they have not given me good feedback about job market condition in Canada they said survival is not difficult but it is tough to find the job in your field and they also told that opportunity is not much and there is an stiff competition for the same job.

I dont mind to face competition but visa verse we should also look for better option .In India we generally get Average 10 % growth year on year and when i ask there they told avg growth is 2 % in Canada.they also told me that my work Experience of India will not consider there and also my MBA which i have done from here is also not suffice to get managerial job over there i have to start from scratch they told me that i have take some professional degree from Canada for getting good job. Last they all are agreed that life in Canada is very good in term of your children education and your personal life.

My question is that i am 35 year old and i am planing to go along with my family i e wife and daughter is it a wise decision to go there in search of good life over there and ls guide me what should i do to get job opportunity from India people are saying that it is very difficult to find an job there because i have very limited resourced for survival and i also have some existing liability like home loan etc in India which i have to manage both.

Kindly guide me regarding consultant or jobs portal through which i can start applying for job.
Thanking you all for reply.
bro initially there is some struggle. . U wont get the same status job as u r dng in india.... bt lifestyle and other facilities are far better than india,... education, medical facilties, etc are much better
over all excellent oppurtunity fr ur kids career... in india aftr 10 -15 life will be more difficult .. will b a wise decision to move to canada...or Australia

Thank you George!

I assume that if no AOR for 6 weeks then it's safe to assume that visa office is NDVO and wait for 2nd line update?

+1 for all the information and response .... :)

Planning to resign from company tomorrow considering 3 months of notice period. My medical is done in January.

Little bit nervous as first time resigning without having any offer in hand.

Hold on Bro. Don't take unnecessary risks unless you have another job in hand...
You will surely get PPR very very soon, but why rely on something that is yet to happen ? God forbid, What if it gets delayed ?

My NOC mate so sorry to hear this. Please try EE once you get your package back

Hi,

I have done my medical tests including chest XRay. But the medical center didn't return any docs except the fees receipt. What document should I sent to NDVO for the proof of medical test? Is it mandatory to sent any document ?

Thanks
Arun
