Hi Friend,
Almost most of us are in a similar situation.
Think about it, if you were hiring a mid level position and got someone who has immigrated to India with no prior domestic market experience, no network, education credentials that you have no clue about, what would you do?
Same is the case when we migrate to Canada. We have have the knowledge but we need to give time to fit in.
As you are banker, look for bridging courses which will help you get an edge in the market there. Once you are at the MR stage, you will get a CIIP invitation, attend it to understand it much better.
The industry is bifurcated in regulated and non regulated jobs. If yours is regulated that to be able to work in it you need to certify in courses relevant to you area. Hypothetically courses like Canadian Securities course etc. Try to get that clarity.
Dynamics in Canada are different, different inflation, different cost of living and so on. Prep your self to stop the comparison with your Indian lifestyle and currency equivalent conversions.
On your NOC, why would Canada identify it as a immigration NOC if they had the resources to fill it up locally? Give it a thought. Competition is always there and that's what helps an employer get the best out of the lot.
Finally, don't expect miracle results. You may and probably will have to slog it out initially and should be prepared to pick you a job to meet ends while you follow your dream job.
All the best and trust me when I say, this is the best thing to happen if and when it happens. Now that you are in it, make sure that you see it through till the end.

I dont mind to face competition but visa verse we should also look for better option .In India we generally get Average 10 % growth year on year and when i ask there they told avg growth is 2 % in Canada.they also told me that my work Experience of India will not consider there and also my MBA which i have done from here is also not suffice to get managerial job over there i have to start from scratch they told me that i have take some professional degree from Canada for getting good job. Last they all are agreed that life in Canada is very good in term of your children education and your personal life.
