I am in discussion with a probable Employer in Canada and they are asking me when can I have my PR Visa. I need your inputs and suggestions. My timeline is:

NOC0113
Application Recd : 11th Aug'14
PER: 22nd Dec'14
VO: NDVO
Second line of ECAS yet not updated.

It will help others too. Do you know how long it takes to get this SIN? Would we be able to get it the same day we apply?

Getting SIN is 10 mins job. You can get this at any Services Canada counter. These days they have counters at major airports as well.

I see this posted on checking CIC status: WHAT DOES IT MEAN? A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Understand that your meds are over in October. DM at this stage means you will get PPR soon. Congrats !! +1 to you !!

Putting a exact date or even close by is difficult but here is my take.
Others please share your views.

0113, not a hot NOC.
PER to Processing start - 3 - 3.5 months.
Processing Start to MR - 7 days to 1 month.
MR - PPF - 3 Months.
PPF - Visa - 2 Weeks.

Total - 8 months, so say around Aug 2015.

Documents I sent to LVO were received and signed for by Tony.

Has anyone had him receive documents before?

On previous occasion, they were signed by Alfons. Tony seems to be the new guy!

How does it matter ? As long as docs have reached LVO.

I wouldn't put my money on May.

Reason I stretched it a bit is because, you timeline from Aug 14 to Dec 22 was stretched for PER.
Or am I reading is wrong?

Noc -2172, DEC -9 and as per bank DD enached 4 feb but as per CIC Jan 30.


1)how many days will take MR - depends on which VO you are assigned to.
2)How many day will take visa stamping Check the Avg Process Time Tab under Spreadsheet, it will give you an estimate
3)I am on bench in current IT company and also offer of another IT company. IS good to change employer now or did it create any problem canada PR. It should not cause any issues. Inform your VO about the change
4)what is percentage after getting PER chances PR fail I would say great chance - 60 %
