Didn't receive a reply so re-posting!

how long does it take to update 3rd line after medical exam is done for LVO?

I have also sent PCC and copies of new passport to LVO because they asked for it. I had obtained PCC about three months ago, which is when I didn't have my new passport with me so it has old passport number mentioned in there!

Would they accept 3 and half months old PCC with old passport number on it or would they ask for a new PCC with new passport number on it?

Thanks!

When the 3rd line is updated depends on how quickly the medical office transmits the information and whether the results of the tests raise any red flags. But if you used an e-medical enabled provider and don't need any re-testing due to red flags it is almost always within a week.

Seniors,

How I can find my visa office details after getting PER? And how soon visa office is assigned after PER?

Regards,

The fastest way is to call CIC. You can also send query to CIO but the TAT for that is 60 days.

Congrats to all of you who got a PPR and MR ,
I have a serious doubt,
My husband and I applied on 21st July 2014 NOC:2132
Received Meds : 20-Feb-2015
If By chance we get PPR by 20-March-2015 and he is leaving by May
As a dependent should I also move to canada within 6months from Visa stamping?
Also If I am going should I permanently move or can I just visit and come back to India and finish all duties and then permanently move?
Seniors throw light please....

You MUST land in Canada before the expiry date of your visa, which normally is one year from the date of your medical exam. Upon landing you will apply for your PR card, which takes several weeks up to 3 months to arrive. You will need your PR card to re-enter Canada as the visa is only single entry. If you leave Canada after landing then you can have your husband send your PR card to you but use a trustworthy service like UPS or the like.

It is perfectly ok to land in Canada and then return to India before moving permanently, but to maintain PR you must spend 2 out of every 5 years in Canada, and they count it to the exact day.

Hi Friends,

Delighted to inform you that with God's grace and your good wishes I have received PPR today. S/S updated.

Thanks to all who have shared the best of information. It wouldn't have been possible w/o the help of the people on this interactive forum.

[size=13pt] Thanks future_canadian!
I found this in the russian forum last night in my attempt to extract data on the WARSAW VOs work pattern, their applicants timelines but could succeed to some extent.

This post seemed like a generic information about all VOs and the interval between BFDs is at the discretion of the agent working on a file which in turn is based on the number of files he handles, number of files the visa office has received.

I am still posting comments into the russian forum to sneak out with vital information but the issue with their forum is, each and every post has to go through the moderator for his authentication, that is weird!! :o

Interesting and thanks for the info. Anything else you find, please share with us!

Why NDVO is ignoring NOC 1111

Nobody on this forum is replying to my posts..

88 Days gone after PER..feeling worried

Actually this information was initially posted by qorax on this very forum and is not likely relevant as it referred to processing under CAIPS while now they use GCMS.

So do we know the analogue under GCMS? For example how does a case officer decide which files to review that day? Etc.

Congrats bud. Happy to hear the news.
Be in touch.
