Query :

Hi All,

I am really worried for my application which reached on 21st October and DD encashed 30th Dec .But no PER yet. :( ..Now it is more than 4 months. So,is it understood that i will get my file back. :(
Because one of my friends Application reached on 21st July and her DD encashed date was Nov .And yesterday she got her file back .
It seems that after DD encashed also ,there is chance of getting file back..
Day by Day i am loosing Hope now..

Thanks

there is a possibility per mail must have been missed. If Ecas status hasn't been updated with DM or you haven't got ner, there is every possibility that the per mail must have been missed by you.

Hi prvd,

if applicant is stayed in any country for more than 6 months then PCC is must you should and must submit PCC for all the countries you have been stayed for more than 6 months.. I hope this is clear

jvas

Thank you Jvas.... I guess I'll anyways get it done as advised.... I actually got confused as my consultant told me that it's not required.

Have one question :-

How quickly can a person start working in Canada .
I mean suppose I have the Visa stamped in hand and I have landed in Canada .
How soon can I start working there.

The reason I am asking this is because I am going to ask my company If they can transfer me to their Canada Office.

If By God's grace they decide to do so .. Can I start working for them from the second day after landing ..

Or will i require to get a PR card to start working there?

Just, I've received my passports with visa stamp...
I would like to share my experience with CPC-Ottawa... They sent an email for PR on 09/01/2015... Because, I couldn't send my passports to Canada as I am residing in Saudi Arabia but, I sent more than email to them within 30 days asking for arrangement of printing of visa at Riyadh but I've received nothing from them.

Finally, I decided to contact Canadian Embassy at Riyadh directly and immediately, They sent a welcome email and agreed to print visa

Therefore, I would like advise everyone.. don't wait for response for long time and take action to push them

Good Luck for all ;D

Congratulations and Thanks for sharing! God Bless!

Hi Seniors,

I just need an important suggestion from your end...

I am currently working in Global MNC Company and my reporting is to a person who sits in Poland. And i am the only person from India who reports to him.

If I get the PR Stamped on my Passport, so is there any possibility, that I can continue my job there in Canada (as we have offices in US and Canada).

Please suggest on the following, if I will get the transfer from India to Canada Office (obviously on different Payroll) :-

1) Do I need to inform to NDVO on the same

2) Will there be any effect on my Application

3) Does anyone will have issues/ objection on this.

4) Any other important point, if I have missed out anything... ???

Please suggest asap...

I don't think you will need to inform cic. It's your choice where you want to work. You may have to work on Canadian payroll though.

All you will need is a Social Insurance Number.
It's one of the first things all immigrants do. A quick and eacy process and if I am not mistaken, there are services canada desks at key international airports, so you can apply for one, right when you land.
Check the below site for more details.

huh..?!!! :o :o :o :o

Hw can this happen that Doc did not give u proper receipt and wrote numbers on piece of paper.? Payment receipt should be in the form of sophisticated receipt defining the purpose of medical and amount printed on it.!

Anyway.. I think...other receipts should be suffice. Where u did ur medicals.?

Seniors...if u can throw some light on this... ::) ::) ::) ::)

Hi,

Thanks a ton for this, really relieved. However the doctor did not give me a proper receipt as he took cash and wrote the numbers on a piece of paper. I do have the receipts for the X-ray and blood tests. Will that suffice?

Thanks a ton for all your help!

Regards,
Prasanna

Those who have received PPR from NDVO, can you please confirm what has to be mentioned on the back of the 2 photo?

Further, the photo specifications sheet says, One photo must bear the name and complete address of the photo studio and the date the photo was taken
must be included on the back of one photo. The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information.

Request to shed some light on the same......

So does this mean that we are not required to submit Saudi PCC? .... Please note that since we have to report where we stayed during the last 10 years .... Saudi stay did not figure out in the list(15yrs back) could that be a reason why they overlooked this

you don't need pcc from saudi as tgnat was not in last 10 years...
pcc is required ONLY for countries visited for "more than 6 months" in last "10 years..

hope it clarify...

best of luck for your application....:)

My VO is NDVO and I'm currently in South Africa and hence did my e-medicals here.
The doctor here hasn't provided me with the fee that he has taken for the tests but only the receipts the lab had given for X-rays and blood tests.

Prasanna
