Finally Finally one step closer to the Canadian Dream that Beckons us!!!!

Finally got the PPR request from NDVO today at 11:06 AM today!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to thank each one of you for the support that was provided whenever I did have a concern.

A point to note I had updated my Visa rejection and had shared the updated Background Declaration Form with them, and it was not an issue.

My best wishes and prayers with each one of you.

For folks who are still waiting for the PPR, its just about being patient, there is a huge pile at NDVO that is awaiting a final review before the PPRs can be issued and looks like it is slowly getting cleared.

Be Patient and wait and the moment will arrive.

we see large number of 2174 getting DM as this was among the first one which filled 1000
Based on the spreadsheet cap reached on 7/3
by looking at the stat, 2174 & 2173 DM and PPR are going to lead.

Dear fellow members,
I am pleased to notify you that I have received a passport request from NDVO for visa stamping. I would like to thank everyone for their hard effort who constantly supported me to reach this stage.

But I am currently one issue. I am currently residing in Australia and I have sent emails / phone NDVO several times to send me passport request to Sydney VO, but they igonred my mails. Now, what shall I do ? Shall I send my passports to VFS Nepal and they will send to NDVO or shall I reinform NDVO about my address and ask for relocation of visa issuance and wait for the response.

To keep Canadian PR active one has to stay in Canada for two years in five year period.

However, can someone tell me when does the five year period start?

Is it the start date on PR Visa?
or is it the date of entry in Canada?
or is it the start date on PR card?

Also, I wanted to know what is the start date on PR Card? Is it the date of entry into Canada or date when one applied for PR card or the date when PR card was printed?

CIC can examine ANY 5 year period it chooses, beginning on the day you land, and during that 5 year period you must have been physically present in Canada for 730 days (two full years worth of days). In other words, a new 5 year period begins every day. Suppose you land January 1, 2015. Between then and December 31, 2019 you must spend at least 730 days in Canada to retain PR. Between January 2, 2015 and January 1, 2020, you must also have spent 730 days in Canada to retain PR. And between June 1, 2017 and May 31, 2022, you must also have spent 730 days in Canada. And so on.

will CIC cancle my application or i still have a chance ??

CIC has informed WES that they cannot verify your ECA report. This is due to the incorrect application choice as the WES FSWP customized application was not selected.

In order for Citizenship and Immigration Canada to process your immigration application, they will need to verify your ECA report using WES's online service. To allow CIC access to your ECA report, you will need to order a duplicate report at https://www.wes.org/ca/apply/xcopycic.asp?
