I am also May Applicant and my medicals were completed in Nov 2014. I am also waiting for my PPR.

Could you please suggest, is it a right time to send CSE to NDVO...

And what is the process for GCMS, I mean could you please give some information on this, what exactly is this...

I am Cuban adn I was nominated to live in Manitoba. My Visa office is Mexico city and I would like to know about their processing times,

This is my timeline:
Nomination: May 26, 2014
I applied to CIO on June 26, 2014
PER: August 28, 2014
Medical request: Oct 2, 2014
Med Done: Oct 9, 2014
I have two lines updated in my application status 1) Application received (June, 26) and 2) Medical report received (Nov, 4)

Based on their experience, I would like to know how many time I should wait until passport is requested,

Hello! I checked my status online and there's still no additional update other than the first line. However I see that my current mailing address is now updated based on what I filled up on application. It used to show my very old address which must be during the time that I applied Canadian tourist visa way back.

Is this normal that after PER they only update my address but no mention if what happen next like which visa office my papers has been forwarded to?

I sent my app on 22nd dec 2014 yesterday cic tried to charge me twice but unfortunately denied as i provided debit card .
Today I quickly sent an email to cic with new fee payment form.
Is there any hope i can get to them?
How many times they try before returning application?
Had any one try anything before and worked?
i need your advice plz as i am very depressed actually ,thanks alot

they will try three times before returning your application. but the next attempt will be after few days i guess as they dont do all three attempts on same day.. better you quickly speak to your banker and ask them to let this transaction go. also make sure you are sufficiently funded( after accounting for other payments like EMIs).. all the best..

While funding your account for transactions, kindly take note of the following:

CIC normally tries to charge your card 2 - 3 times. Immediately ensure you have sufficient balance, ad also call you bank and inform them that this transaction should be allowed. And then hope and pray it all works out.

Was your DD made in INR for Rs 47500 ? If so, you need to make another DD for the balance amount and send it to NDVO at the earliest.
Amount for 2 adults is Rs 53400.

Dear ASHEEF, Yes, I made the 1st DD fro Rs. 47,500/- and so I am making the 2nd DD for the balance amount. Is that OK. From Hyderabad, the DD will easily reach Friday and my last day is 23rd(Monday). Between last night i wrote a mail to NDVO seeking help on how to proceed for the balance payment. will that shatter mu chances by any chance? Will they agree in 2 DD'S? Mainly what about the medical examination originals Iv sent them in the 1st set. Anyway I am now sending them d photo copies of the same along with PP bio pages, and other related documents. Can you please reply me this morning itself as I am tensed to send in next few hours. Thanks a ton.
