I applied under 4011. App date:11th Sept and PER :31st Dec.Visa office: NDVO.

Can seniors please let me know when will I get second line update and MR request.

1. When should I expect the Medical Request ? - This you can check in the SS and find out the average time
2. I've come to the US on H1B Visa on Jan 24th 2015 and my family (Wife and daughter) are in India - How to go for completing the Medicals for me and family? - Your family can go to the doctors (CIC certified) in India and you in US (CIC Certified) nearest to your place, I did that so no worry
3. If they ask me for the PCC again which I submitted along with the application from the local Police station, how to get it for me? Will I get it from Consulate of India or from somewhere else? I am in the East Coast (Delaware)[/b] - You can get it from Indian Consulate in US near to your place, you may check the website of Indian Consulate in US.

for later, You may request Canadian Embassy, New York for visa issuance at the time of PPR (passport request).

No MR by now.....got my second line update on 15 nov 2014...what may be wrong any guesses ?

application received by cic on sep 9 2014.but according to my courier service it was delivered on 6th june 2014. why is the date different here ?

You might be reading the date format wrong - MM/DD would be the correct format i.e. 6/9/14. whereas sep 6 would be like 9/6/14.

Got PPR from Los Angeles

I'm grateful to you all for your help in getting me the PR visa. I wanted to point out how long it takes to get the visa stamped in the US i.e. add a month after getting PPR. (for Indians who cannot send their passport to Canada.)

• PPR from CPC-O: Jan 8 (I Immediately responded to print visa in the US)
• PPR from Los Angeles: Jan 30
• Passport Received by LA: Feb 3
• Passport Sent/Mailed from LA: Feb 12
• Passport Received: Feb 14

How long is the visa valid?

Until I got my visa, I had always wondered how long would it be valid for. It seems to be that a few days longer than 1 year from the date you completed the Medical. (Ensure that your passport is valid for at least a year and a half after the date of your Medical.)

• Medical Completed: Nov 5, 2014
• eMedical Entry/File Completed: Nov 13, 2014
• Medical Updated in ECAS: Nov 24, 2014
• Visa Valid up to: Nov 20, 2015

Finally received MR for myself and my family yesterday. Though I was expecting to get request for PCCs first it worked the other way round. Anyways glad to see progress being made.

Admins - Can you please update the status on the SS.

Thanks and tip to all the LVO folks waiting specially from May and June. Don't get upset, I am pretty hopeful that you guys would get updates by end of March or Mid-April at the latest.

Received MR half an hour ago. The 4 of us have been issued separate UCIs. Have been given 30 days to submit the results. RPRF and PCC requests were not received with MR. Is that normal?

I have submitted my medical last month and was waiting for my passport request. To my surprise I my status was update with above line and no passport request till now. What does this mean?

1. Amount of RPRF DD for me and my spouse in indian rupees : Rs 53400 /-

2. In whose favor should the DD be made? The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.

3. I hope it should be payable at delhi Yes

I have visitor visa for us and my real brother lives in New Jersey which is close to Toronto city I am targeting to land. I will definitely want to visit him couple of time during my stay in Canada. Now the q is after landing in Canada pr card will take aprox 3 months to reach me at a local Canadian address. Till then if go ,us how will I enter Canada again ??????? I would require multiple entries from us ---Canada.

I've contacted the CIO for the 3rd time to make sure to which visa office my application has been transferred. On the previous calls , they told me that my application had been transferred to Cairo Visa Office which , as far as I know , is supposed to be not working and the applications would be alternatively transferred to CPC-Ottawa. So, it would be strange that my application will be processed in Cairo Visa Office. Today, I called them and explained all these circumstances and I have been told that my application is still in transit in the CIO !! . Then , I asked where it would be transferred and again they insisted that they don't know but it's supposed to be Cairo Visa Office as per the application. I got my PER email nearly a month ago, Is it normal that my application is still in transit although some fellows whose PER emails were received later were told that their application were transferred to CPC-Ottawa ? Is there a relation between the NOC and the date when the application will be transferred ?

There are applicanTs here who have received PER 2months ago and are still waiting for confirmation from their local VO that they have received the application.
I suggest wait for a while to hear from your local VO and not read too much between the lines.
NOC has got nothing to do with processing time. Every application is unique and it all depends on your case officer.
I suggest you drop an email to cic sydney inquiring where and tentatively when will you hear drom your local vo and who will your local vo be and just wait for your next step that is aor or mr request.
Each application will take its own sweet time and nothing can be done to speed things up.

Dear ASHEEF, Yes, I made the 1st DD fro Rs. 47,500/- and so I am making the 2nd DD for the balance amount. Is that OK. From Hyderabad, the DD will easily reach Friday and my last day is 23rd(Monday). Between last night i wrote a mail to NDVO seeking help on how to proceed for the balance payment. will that shatter mu chances by any chance? Will they agree in 2 DD'S? Mainly what about the medical examination originals Iv sent them in the 1st set. Anyway I am now sending them d photo copies of the same along with PP bio pages, and other related documents. Can you please reply me this morning itself as I am tensed to send in next few hours. Thanks a ton.

prepare fresh dd of 53400 and write a covering letter that ignore first dd as i have i am sending fresh one. , don't send balance dd .

or pay online and send paid receipt with your details , they will not encash dd as you have already paid online ..
