Seniors please suggest a query from a friend of mine who doesnt want to reveal his identity here

the query is, he was a resident in the UK along with me for 4 years, however, due to an argument with a internet service provider he stopped paying the bills, and while leaving the country for good he also abandoned from paying his phone contract (which he anyways fulfilled the contract term, but dint cancel it so it went on) and also few utility bills.

now the credit history is badly hit, obviously.

he wants to apply for express entry but he is worried if CIC verifies credit history too of an applicant during the Background checks

Is it so? Do they check for such things too in the background checks??

I've never heard of them doing credit checks but it's possible. They hire private companies to do some of the background checking and we don't know everything they look at.

Received MR half an hour ago. The 4 of us have been issued separate UCIs. Have been given 30 days to submit the results. RPRF and PCC requests were not received with MR. Is that normal? ;)

For LVO I think so. NDVO is different.

Credit history has nothing to do with your PR application.

Raising GCMS notes would be a good idea here.

Already 5 months crossed after MR done...still no response about my PPR from NDVO.
If anything mentioned in the website, then i can raise a Urgent CSE to NDVO.

Hi All,

Writing after a long time.......

Was wondering if NDVO is issuing PPRs on the basis of NOCs (like 21XX preferred against 11XX) !!!! Bcz there is no pattern on basis of App received date, Medicals done date OR PCC sent date...... Please share your inputs on the same........ The waiting game is turning out to be tooooo long to handle...... ;D ;D ;D

Mayur according to my knowledge I think NOC also matter in terms of generating MR & PPR's. As per my research into forum and global spreadsheet your NOC is far behind compare to 21XX or 22XX

Please guide, when cap reached of any NOC. Then CIC sent e mail to applicant & then returned all his package by snail mail.?
Or only sent back complete package with explanation letter by snail mail?

Almost always just the entire package back by snail mail.

If reason for return in full NOC cap, the package is returned via snail mail along with procedural fairness letter citing the reason.
Thank you very much for your reply, it means no e mail should be sent to applicant from CIC? Is It?

A person is claiming, he got rejection e mail due to cap reached, it means he is creating anarchy?

So, I have seen these pings around the not nocs and they getting prioritised.
NOC 1112, Financial and investment analysts was also amongst the first 3 to get full.
I dont see PPR for this NOC. My friend who applied on 8th May and got meds mid oct is still awaiting.

Yes no email is sent to PA.

The person you are talking must have raised a CSE, and in reply he would have received that email from CIC.

How can we give the UCI details to third party...Is it advisable? And that too so many service providers are available...how can we trust....so many confusions

Hi Goku, for my understanding, how are those 2 different?

If you have a friend of relative in Canada, you can raise GCMS against their Mailing address with your email address. As far as I know, the report is shared over email.
That's how I did it.
