Thank you rvp_deltario!

You've always been very helpful! Not panicking but sometimes it is very reassuring to hear senior members confirm :)

Appreciate all your help!

hi darklordkuma,

Too early to press the panic button. Give it another week.
3rd Line update has varied across NDVO applicants. In my case it was 11 days. Some had it even earlier and some later.

London visa office issued photo requests to so many applicants and asked to submit photos again.

what does it mean?

can anyone speculate or have information regarding this matter?

can anyone speculate from his/her GCMS notes that at which stage this happened?

Hi Goku, for my knowledge, how are those 2 different?
Procedural Fairness Letter(PFL) is something like a chance you are giving to submit any additional documents before decision is made. Say for example, someone is suffering from Heart Disease and CIC Medical department think that he can create excessive demand of Medical in Canada, and based on that that person is likely inadmissible to Canada based on Medical ground. So before VO make a final decision, a PFL is sent to PA to submit any document if he wants to before Immigration Officer makes his decision.

So PFL is not send when application is sent back to PA in case if NOC is capped. Its just a letter stating why application has been sent back.

It just means they need recent photos, and nothing else. :)

Reposting an earlier post from yogi_bear, this should help you.

yogi_bear said:
For the benefit of of various Forum Members I am sharing an earlier post for application of GCMS Notes

if you want to order GCMS on your own there are two ways.

a) If you have a friend / relative in canada it would cost you just $5 and you will get that in around 30 days.

b) If you don't have a relative or friend in Canada then you can get it from websites and it would cost around $25-$40 and you will get in six to eight weeks..

Check this

a) If you have a relative / friend in Canada

As you have a relative / friend there it would cost you just $5. Its very easy. Your relative / friend will order this on your behalf and he will be the requester. It can be done by email and your relative / requester can send scan copies of everything. Your relative / friend will receive CAIPS / GCMS notes in his email.

First fill the following form but your relative / friend will sign it as he is the requester.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf (this can be skipped by filling the request online - https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en)

Then you will have to fill this consent form and sign yourself

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5475E.pdf

Now according to latest IMM5563E form you can even pay fees online if you are not living in Canada and there is no need to fill any credit card form. Pay fees online, get receipt, fill it and then scan and attach with application. Its very easy. Go to section C of the following form then follow other links given below.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf (See section C)

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

https://eservicesak.cic.gc.ca/epay/lineofbusiness.do

After payment take 2 copies of print out of receipt. Keep one copy for yourself and attach other with application.

Ask your relative to provide copy of his Canadian passport or PR card and copy of his recent bill or bank statement as a proof that he is currently living in Canada

Ask him to scan everything and send everything by email to

atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca

b) If you don't have a relative / friend in Canada

try these websites. You will get in around 6-8 weeks.

a) http://www.caips.ca/
b) http://caipsnotes.com/index.shtml
c) http://www.caipsretriever.com/2006/03/immigrants-life-in-toronto-canada-ii.html
d) www.lawpoint.ca

so u mean to say, i need only the mailing address of my friends. ca u tel me how i can raise it...is there different forms available

Do medicals, renew passport and raise CSE with new passport scan and details.

Jan 2015 or 2016?

Passport requirement at the time of meds to to photo ID the applicant. you can go ahead with the MR on your current passport and subsequently get a new one.
Note that if you PPR issuance is due post MR and you still have the old passport on their record, VO will not issue visa and rather reach out to you for a new passport with min 6 months validity.

Thanks for sharing n yah, refreshing post for waiting PPR club..!!

You have already written "believe it or not"....so, No offence but I am being little skeptic about this due following reasons :

1) Till today, NDVO has released PPRs on an avg. of 6-7 Nos. / week. (as per the information in the forum)

2) From last many days not a single DM or PPR has been reported. (hard to believe that only applicants outside these forum are getting it for so many days).

3) If July apps to be started from March 14 end, that means NDVO has to clear FSW 13 + May 14 + June 14 + Misc. cases within 30 days (Starting from tomorrow to 20th Mar 14).

4) For this to become reality, NDVO will have to realease atleast 40-50 DMs/PPRs per week (may be more then that) starting from tomorrow. - Unlikely to happen.

----------

Even I wish that efforts u hv put in to get this information.. really come true.

But...somehow, uncertainity of NDVO has crushed every positive thoughts coming in mind.

Let's enjoy being puppet of NDVO..!! :p :p :p :p :p :p
Hi,

I feel Adisu01 info is correct to an extent as it is a estimate from the Officer.
For this to happen they do not need to clear any backlog. All the applications that have been delayed (FSW 13 + May 14 + June 14 + Misc) will take their own sweet time since each of those cases have associated task taking long time (according to the VO) and VO will work on them.

By the Statement that July applicants will start getting PPR the officer does not mean all the July applicants nor does he mean that all the backlog will be cleared before that.

If we follow the SS it does show that candidates with swift timelines and those fellows will be eligible for receiving PPR of their Criminality & security check are cleared. Which i am sure they will be as it takes no more then 4 weeks for those checks.

So some July applicants will start getting PPR by March 20.

Similarly some August applicants will start getting PPR by May 1 Week

Dear All,
After a long waiting period....
I have one great news to share, that my application is "In Process" at CIC, after several days of waiting.
Just called CIC and a male attendent received my call and asked several questions including Place of birth, date of birth, country of residence, family name, email, given name, city of birth, mobile number, and then only he informed me good news that your application is at the moment might be under Elgibility Review because status being shown is "In Process" and CIC will contact you shortly via Email. Strange thing here is that the attendent asked several questions which seemed to me very strange because as per the information shared on forum by the persons who called CIC they don't ask so many questions.

I requested the person (Male Attendent) to provide me my UCI number, but he said that I am sorry that we have been given clear instructions not to release this information over the phone. Hopefully I shall try again and may be this time a female attendent will attend the call and provide me UCI number.

Strange thing is that till yesterday my DD was still not encashed as per information provided by my bank.

I hope and pray that i shall receive my PER very soon, because "In Process" means "99.99% PER", as I have been advocating on the forum in my several replies and hopefully it will be the case for me.

Wish all of you the best.

Regards,George,
Doha,Qatar
