Hi folks

I have a doubt. I got my MR on 15 december and i got my medical done on 22 dec and RPRF dd was encashed on 31 december but I was told by NDVO to undergo Xray and chest checkup again which i did on 16 January. And finally my 3rd line of update was done on 26 January. So my doubt is that whether i get PPR 3-4 months from RPRF encashed date(31 dec) or from 3rd line of update date(26 January). Did my Criminality nd security check began after 3rd line of updtae or before that ?

Criminality & security Generally begins with the MR request, when it is sent to you.

3-4 Months is an average trend for PPR after 3 line but does not have a direct correlation to the third line.

You may say its 4 months to 5 months form you MR request and even that's a valid argument and in your case easier to calculate.

So i would say 4.5 months form 15th Dec = 2 week of May for PPR going by current trend

Nobody exactly knows the answer, when your security check was done or when you will get PPR.

1 year from the date of the medical exam

Please let me know, these details in the CIC website. I'm unable to find in the website

I am so tempted to write to Warsaw VO by raising a CSE with a silly content in it and wake them up. Damn!! Not a single visa issued has been reported so far >:(

Thanks, I'm fit but when I was doing my medicals the doctor had identified problems during the urine dip stick test and therefore asked me to take up further tests. I'm awaiting results but most likely it looks like there are some problems.
So now Im not sure what needs to be done when a real problem is identified and it is going to take time to cure.
Do they reject applicaitons due to any type fo illness?

Thanks once again

In my opinion before you go to Medical test have a complete test of your Urine (Routine/Culture and sensitivity) and if any problem found consult doctor and take medicine first. You have 45 days of time after the MR mail hit your box. Sometime Urine infections are very normal and can be cure with antibiotics of 5 days only..

FSW 14 started on 1st May 2014 .... Express entry on 01 Jan 2015

Technically FSW is yearly .... Does any 1 know what happens from 01 May 2015
How long will CIC continue to process application for FSW recd until 31 December 2014

Can some 1 please share any available information on this

Thanks

There will be no more FSW as far as we know.

CIC will continue to process FSW applications received on time for as long as it takes to process them all... unless they pull another horrible move like 2011. Not likely, but theoretically possible.

Hi All,

Writing after a long time.......

Was wondering if NDVO is issuing PPRs on the basis of NOCs (like 21XX preferred against 11XX) !!!! Bcz there is no pattern on basis of App received date, Medicals done date OR PCC sent date...... Please share your inputs on the same........ The waiting game is turning out to be tooooo long to handle...... ;D ;D ;D

If reason for return in full NOC cap, the package is returned via snail mail along with procedural fairness letter citing the reason.

Please guide, when cap reached of any NOC. Then CIC sent e mail to applicant & then returned all his package by snail mail.?
Or only sent back complete package with explanation letter by snail mail?

hi darklordkuma,

Too early to press the panic button. Give it another week.
3rd Line update has varied across NDVO applicants. In my case it was 11 days. Some had it even earlier and some later.

Dear Senior Members - I have completed my Medicals on Feb 3rd and the doctor told me that the results were uploaded via emedical on Feb 6th. However, my third line is still not updated. The doctor's office provided me a copy of the results and noted that there was no indication of TB on the X-Ray, or HIV or Syphillis in the blood work.

I'm curious to know why the 3rd line has not updated yet, especially since others at NDVO are getting third line updated in 3-5 days after medicals were done.

Any thoughts?

I dont think CIC has outlined it any where but below is a post from yesterday of o_o from LAVO who shared that the Visa validity is roughly a year from the date of 3rd line(we have received your medicals) update.

Got PPR from Los Angeles

I'm grateful to you all for your help in getting me the PR visa. I wanted to point out how long it takes to get the visa stamped in the US i.e. add a month after getting PPR. (for Indians who cannot send their passport to Canada.)

PPR from CPC-O: Jan 8 (I Immediately responded to print visa in the US)
PPR from Los Angeles: Jan 30
Passport Received by LA: Feb 3
Passport Sent/Mailed from LA: Feb 12
Passport Received: Feb 14

How long is the visa valid?

Until I got my visa, I had always wondered how long would it be valid for. It seems to be that a few days longer than 1 year from the date you completed the Medical. (Ensure that your passport is valid for at least a year and a half after the date of your Medical.)

Medical Completed: Nov 5, 2014
eMedical Entry/File Completed: Nov 13, 2014
Medical Updated in ECAS: Nov 24, 2014
Visa Valid up to: Nov 20, 2015

Don't worry. Just remember to take cough syrup before the test.

People do cough when they're affected by TB, however having cough doesn't mean that you've TB.

Check out TB symptoms here, unless you've multiple of these symptoms you shouldn't be worried:

http://www.cdc.gov/features/TBsymptoms/

In general, Canadian govt gives time to for disease which can cured. In cases such as HIV infection, people cannot be cured so it would result in outright rejection.

Not outright rejection but a fairness letter giving the applicant time to respond. It can be overcome in some cases.

Hi Seniors,

I have the UCI number , but as soon as I enter , it says either it is not correct or processing hasn't started yet etc ... what is the matter ? Is this normal ? Having said that , I didn't receive any PER email yet. I got this by calling the CIC office ... Please advice.

If you haven't got PER you may not yet be in the ECAS system. It takes time to be entered.

Already 5 months crossed after MR done...still no response about my PPR from NDVO.
If anything mentioned in the website, then i can raise a Urgent CSE to NDVO.
