Hi,

I agree that sharing timeline is important. Probably some people may have missed that sections unintentionally. After reading your message I checked and updated mine. Ofcourse I've updated the global excel sheet a few months back.

Steps to update timeline
1) Go to profile and click on 'Forum Profile Information on your left panel'
2) In this page scroll down to find the timeline form and fields
3) Fill up the information and click on change profile button and you are done.

Hope this helps.

And they feel they are super smart by getting all the info from others and saving personal info as well....

beauty is , they still pop up as soon as they feel Guidance required and evaporates in no time .

They need to understand to get help , we should help others !

(Don't understand the logic of hiding timeline )

Hello All: Need Urgent help pls..

*****I am reposting this incase anyone has any idea about it.*****

At the time of filing, I had mentioned my 2 dependents (Spouse & child) as"Non-Accompanying" - selected that option in the Generic Application form & only paid $550 initially, however now I need to make them as "Accompanying Dependents. We have already completed Medicals for all 3 of us and have had the 3rd line updated as well. For now, FBI PCC is the only piece pending which will take another couple of months.

I read it somewhere that if the application is before "Decision Made" stage, Dependents can be added, not sure if I can make them accompanying at this stage. If Yes, can someone pls guide me in the right direction and the steps involved as part of it. Thanks!

Hi

Just need some clarification. My visa office is LVO. As advised by consultant, I made Demand Draft (towards RPRF) in favor of "Receiver General for Canada"payable at Toronto. I just would like to know since the correspondences + DD are to be sent to London, how come the instrument becomes payable at Toronto. Does LVO send DD to Toronto for realisation?? .. or Did I make a mistake by drawing the DD payable at Toronto instead of making it payable at London. Need some advise on it, please...

Regards

Here's what London Visa Office Says
"The fees for permanent residence application must be paid using a Bank Draft / Bank Cheque in Canadian dollars, made payable to “Receiver General for Canada”.

So your consultant is right and you are safe.

Has anybody noticed, the processing times of VO is increased.
The processing time for CVO is increased from 12 to 14 months, NDVO from 22 to 24 months and WVO from 22 to 34 months.
Ironical that CIC have transferred our files to WVO for faster processing >:( :'(

Dear seniors,

I have a question.

I applied through a representative (a lawyer in Canada)....so when they send me PER, will they send it ONLY to the lawyer or will they send it to me and lawyer BOTH?

I remember i filled up my email address in one of the forms and he also had mentioned his email address in the forms.

Looking firward to hear from you experts :)

Thank you!!

I had similar case wherein I've applied through a representative. My PER mail was first received by them and then it was forwarded to me.
Expecting the same for my MR mail.

Hope my info is correct.

Cheers,
Kandarp

It seems that EE people will be given priority over FSW14 applicants. CIC wants employed people (who already have job offer) rather than unemployed one (who will start looking job from fresh). Logically CIC should have launched Express entry after finishing all files of FSW2014. They have sent our files to WVO just to delay more. This wait seems indefinite.

Does the Ontario Government offer health insurance to immigrants?

Permanent residents, temporary workers, convention refugees and others may receive coverage under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) three months after arriving in Ontario. Apply for public as soon as you arrive to ensure you are covered after your first three months. Find more information on OHIP eligibility and health care.

They should have sent NDVO files to Sao Paulo (Brazil) VO if they want faster processing. LOL! :P
