Glad to announce that i have received 3rd Line Update today 2 hours back.

File received- 7 Aug
CC Charge-14 Nov
PER-24 Nov
MR/PCC/RPRF request-4th Feb
Medical Completed-9th Feb
MR/PCC/RPRF sent-14th Feb
3rd Line Update-17 Feb

My question is
1. Does this means my medical is clear??? Off course they would be but still just in case.
2. Now what can I expect besides waiting, like other kinds of request???

That is not right is it! or probably doesnt matter because nobody takes a year on planning to move if they have already waited AGES for the Visa

The visa is valid for one year from the date of the medical exam or until the expiration date of the passport, whichever comes first.

But i think there is some limit to take money out of India.
Indian government has set the limit beyond that limit you can not carry cash or credit card or debit card. In total you keep it below that limit.
Its a non bailable offence in India to carry money beyond the allowed limit.

May be in case of PR rules change but i dont think so.

Hope this will help many friends.

Limit is 10,000 USD cash I guess. You can also carry travellers cheques.
But one can always transfer money in a Canadian account for higher amounts. thats allowed. Carry Proof of this transfer.

How is that possible? You mean if Credit card's credit limit is greater than allowable, we cannot take that credit card out?..How will they know abt it? Can someone post the Forex law if any exists...

Credit card with whatever limit, is allowed. No issues for sure..

I need to pay RPRF by DD and my VO is New Delhi. Please help me with details like "Payable at" {Delhi or Canada
} and "Favour of" ?

Also I heard that these details are different, for DD in Canadian dollars and DD in INR.

For INR amount is Rs 26700 per adult and nil for minor and should be in favour of "Canadian High Commission".
For CAD amount is CAD 490 and nil for minor and should be in favour of The receiver General for Canada".

You're within normal timelines. Have you checked your ECAS status?
