-After trigger the request, the ack mail said the below, how long does it take to get a permanent tracking number?

Your temporary request tracking number is xxxxxx. After your request has been registered, a new number will be assigned to your request.

It's triggered between PER and MR stage.
No specific end though, so could be ongoing even post MR.

Any idea in what stage of process inquiry about employment being perform... before PER or between PER to MR or may be at last between MR to PPR..?

It could mean that either
- There we some parts of the form that you missed or
- VO misplaced the forms.
Nothing to worry, many other applicants have had such requests.


Is the form 5606 or 5406?

No issue for VO.
Issue for you to show it to your future employers though.
Notarised copies is all the VO wanted.

Naughty CPC-O has recalled their initial email then sent an amended letter like below for my Spouse's Application withdrawal request... :


Recalled Letter:

"Dear client,


This is regarding your application for Permanent Residency in Canada with CPC-O.

Please note that this application will be withdrawn and we will start the process of refunding."


Final Letter:



"Dear client,

We will withdrawn your application but we cannot refund the processing fees.
The only fees that can be refund are the Right of Permanent Residence Fess (RPRF). The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa. In your case the refund of RPRF does not apply as you did not paid this fees."

Please check ur ans from above....

If one of ur file is returned then u can get the DD otherwise not....But if u get PER for both then its not possible....

How can you add two Original IELTS score for both the applications the one shold have denile

The address of the employer has been changed two months before and it is not match with the letterhead in my document. should I send the new address and phone number to CPC-Ottawa.

I am confused and please help me with your findings :

My timelines :

Application date : 2nd Sept 2014
PER : 22nd Dec 2014.
Waiting for 2nd line update and MR/PCC/RPRF.

Concern : I have changed my job in November and I have all documents supporting for that. I applied through consultant who is having 21 yrs of experience in immigration. they are saying that we will not send any updates to CHC until or unless we receive your exact local VISA post. ??? ??? ??? ??? What should I do.

In case of Verification with my employer, what will happen then ? Consultant said you will get mail from CHC in case of verification from your previous employer and they got confirmation that you have resigned from it. I am confused what to do and also nowadays NDVO is sending MR directly without AOR. Might be a chance of verification.

Seniors please suggest the needful action required. Thanks.

quite the same situation for me as well (both of us have similar App date)

i also shifted departments in my same organisation. I sent a note to ndvo, who then said to send to CIC nova scotia

you can send an email and hard copy of your new offer letter to CIC, which will solve your issue.

Yesterday I received my passports with visa stamped on it... FINALLY.... such a long and sometimes stressful ... trip... I am saying trip because truly; it seems the journey has just started!...
Below are my full timeline an app details hopefully to be useful and guide line for others who are still in the pipeline. (p.s: I was not able to edit the xls sheet which I found VERY USEFUL)

yes you should to your visa office after you receive AOR.

meanwhile, you can also send to CIC as well.
