Thanks for your response. Do you recommend that i should submit mine and wife's passport for stamping against this PPR request along with an intimation about the family change to NDVO. I am asking this coz normally NDVO dont respond quickly so what if they reject my application considering the non-receipt of my passports within 30 days of this PPR request. I will proceed with the necessary paperwork required for my baby post the visa stamping on our (parent's) passports. I hope i am able to put across my concern here.

Man we keep telling you NOT to send PPs. If you don't believe us, go ahead and send them and see what happens.

Oh, Sorry, so you got PER from NDVO and then AOR from PVO.
Next you file review will start.
What does E-CAS say once you click on In Process.

PER is issued by CIO-Sydney not NDVO.

Hello seniors,

Can someone give me some advice.

I am an Indian currently residing in Germany.
I will be here till mid June, and my stay might get extended as well.

I am a FSW applicant and had my Credit Card charged recently.
So I am expecting PER and further document requests over coming weeks.

My query is around Police Certificates. In last 10 years, I have lived in UK, India (Bangalore) and Germany.
So I understand I will need PCC from all 3 places.
Can you please advise:
i. The validity of PCC?
ii. Considering I might get PER in coming weeks, will it making sense to start working on PCCs now and have them ready to reduce delay.
iii. For UK PCC, does it make sense to take the express service which is costlier. They also have an option for speedier courier. Does that make sense? Has someone tried it.
iv. For German PCC, normally German residents can get a PCC from local registration office. Though I do not have German citizenship, I do have a German residence card and work permit, and I am also registered at the local meldebehörde. Does it make me eligible to get the PCC from meldebehörde? Plz share if anyone has experience.
v. For Indian PCC, I understand that PCC can be normally taken from either Passport office or from Police. However, I realized that Indian Consulates abroad also provide this service. Do you think it will make sense for me to apply at Indian mission in Frankfurt instead. Will it be accepted by CIC. The mission office is a short walk from where I work.

Thanks for your help.
Cheers.

Hi all,

Did anyone get a chance to look at my queries please..

We all are in same boat

Thanks alok +1, Do you know the timeline for visa issue, Is it a good idea to go to India for two weeks and come, but I am bit worries, if it take more time. Then I'll be into big trouble
Door to door it can be anywhere between 2 weeks to a month or more. I do not think being on vacation will be a good idea. what if ur vacation is over, and u cant travel back to UK coz u dont have passport. I guess being in UK and sending passport will be the best option. Also try if NDVO agrees and allows u to get it stamped in London instead. Some ppl have tried it and succeeded.

i. The validity of PCC? PCCs are valid only at the time of issue but it says CIC accepts PCCs within 6 months, check corresponding PCC issuing websites for more info
ii. Considering I might get PER in coming weeks, will it making sense to start working on PCCs now and have them ready to reduce delay. I suggest that you apply for PCC in India and UK after receiving PER, not sure how long German PCC takes so cant comment
iii. For UK PCC, does it make sense to take the express service which is costlier. They also have an option for speedier courier. Does that make sense? Has someone tried it. I applied for the Premium service to get my wifes and mine as I was in a rush to send my application with PCC included I received it in 7 days, in your case you dont need to spend so much, be ready with your required documents to apply for UK PCC along with the payment, send it off asa you receive your PER using the standard service, it will take upto 20 days to get it delivered
iv. For German PCC, normally German residents can get a PCC from local registration office. Hi all
I have some clarifications
Does NDVO conduct the background check for education and work experience after medicals tests or is it just the criminality check after medicals ?

The German PCC can be obtained after filling a form and paying 13 Euros fee beforehand. Your signatures on the form has to be verified by the german embassy or the Rathaus - Foreign office where ur resident card is issued at. For more info. Check:

Guys, a bit of confusion in here. My application, dated 18th August is under processing at New Delhi Visa Office. I am about to send documents to add my wife in the application as i recently got married. My confusion is, whom should i make my DD payable to? and the place where it should be payable at? CIO Sydney or New Delhi?
