I have ordered another set as soon as I got the notes (you must know that they are generated few days after request but delivered on ~30th day, so the information on them is not up to date). The status of assessments will give a rough idea of timeline to ppr. My country is not exempt, so I will have to go through stamping, which is super stupid considering that I have a valid multi-entry visa. Nevermind the fact that the Australian PR visa (grant) is just an email. LOL.

I'll take note on that.. i have been hearing about this GCMS thing, but never ordered one yet since my file is still considered within the normal processing time. Ever i get to the point of eventually receiving my Visa alongwith my family, and the inevitable landing when God permits. It is still possible to order the notes once i landed, correct me if i'm wrong? Just wanted to see how my file went through the whole processing until the finish line.. ;D I assumed there is a termination of these notes per applicant on their system which will automatically be obliterated on a said time, say 5years from it commenced?

That would have been more convenient, visa grant through email... ;D ;D ;D

Cc charged: Jan31, Application received: Dec 10.
Praying to get PER soon

I don't know if records of visa applications are retained forever by CIC, but you can definitely apply for GCMS notes after visa issue or even landing. It's very comprehensive, over 40 pages of information.

Congratz... All the best further.. ;)

CIC is nearing to end the charging for all the applications received. Local VO's are more likely to be in a faster pace once intake office transferred the very last file!

GCMS is a computer system and I think notes stay in case of citizenship application in the future

the physcial file is also preserved for 7 years and then it archived in electronic format - based on CIC archive policy document.
