I was trying to get more information on the following terms in GCMS report

ECU-PA ( Program assistant ) -
Registry - Safe location to store all the docs - (During the intervening period, the mission secured these visas in a room in the registry section where only the FCO, visa printing clerk and the head of the unit had access - Taken from Canada hongkong audit)

DVO- Designated visa officer - Locally sourced officer ( Earlier was called DIO- Based on Audit report)
CBO - Canada Based visa officer - Team Lead for DVO

Can someone help the full form of EDO in ECU-EDO

I had applied under two NOC's 2173 and 2174. For 2174, 3rd line is updated (Medical done) and for 2173, 2nd line is updated. So my question is - When will VO ask me to withdraw one application?

Morning all for the UK

A quick question - my wife recently had a baby and I was wondering what form of ID do we need to notify CIC of this news. Is a Birth Certificate ok or do they require a passport?

Congratulations!

If your application is in process and you had a baby you need to add your baby to your application. Inform your VO by CSE and they will tell you what they want.

You will need to get a passport for your baby as well as birth certificate and you will need to provide some updated documents. You will also need settlement funds enough for one more member of the family.

I got my MR, PCC & RPRF request on 15 JAN but there was a small error in MR form which i got it from NDVO office. My son's name is mentioned in Family name instead of Given Name. I had replied to the email with all the supporting doucments and also raised query in dmp-portal

Still no reply. What should i do? March 1st is the last date to sumbit MR, PCC and RPRF. Kindly suggest me

my visa 8ffice is lvo, i had similar situation. I emailed them with urgent mentioned in subject n got reply same day. when u go for MR , name of applicant is same as in passport so it doesnt matter...
My vo asked me to send passport copy of my child to correct the name.
I hope it helps

No Med Req yet. When can I expect med request?

Attended Medical Exam just about an hour ago. It all went smoothly. Doc said everything is normal as per Med exam. Except blood test and x-ray results of which will arrive in couple of days.

They'll give me a call if there's any issue.

THE BEST thing is that doctor has also agreed to delay submission of my medical exam results. Usually they said they upload results within 4 to 5 days. However, in my case they have agreed to submit it on 25th of Feb so I'll visa valid till about end of Feb 2016. So I can spend a week (last week of Feb) next year in Vancouver and then visit Toronto in March, by then hopefully weather would have gotten bit milder in Toronto!

I had to do test bit early because I have my passport renewal tomorrow (so my current passport will be cancelled tomorrow and new one will take couple of weeks to arrive) and doctor required original valid passport as proof of ID on the day of Med exam.
