Hi,

Just want to clear up my confusion, when should i tell the VO about my wife pregnancy (1 month pregnant), before MR, during Medical or after MR? My PER date is 9Jan15 and now waiting for my MR to come.. please i need an expert advise.

Thank you....

Congratulations on the baby!

Tell them now. But decide what you want to do about the MR first. If your wife wants to do the MR and take the x-ray with a shield, I believe they will allow this and it should be safe (but consult the doctor to be sure). If that is what she prefers you can continue with your application as normal and hope to complete your landing process and have the baby in Canada where it will be born a citizen. You have a pretty reasonable chance of having a visa in time to land. But if your wife gives birth before you land, you'll have to get all your baby's documents, add your baby to the application and get a visa for the baby as well, which delays your application but is not otherwise a problem.

Either way, please note:
1. You cannot add the baby to your application after visas/COPRs have been issued. If you have a baby after visas are issued but before landing they are likely to be revoked and you'll have to start over.
2. Even if you have landed and you are a PR, if your baby is born outside Canada it has no status in Canada and you will have to sponsor it. That is possible, but much easier not to have to do that, so if you decide to land before the birth, stay in Canada until after the birth.
3. Don't try to land with a baby that has no visa!

Got our second line ECAS

we started processing your application February 5

Means Vienna Visa office woke up

Does it mean we will get medical request soon? or are they just starting doing background checks???

Thanks!!!!

Have u got charged? Currently applicants similar to your timelines are getting charged so if you've been charged then you can expect your PER within 15-20 days of that.

Fortunately I was charged on 2nd Feb... Keenly waiting for PER :)

Can anyone answer to my query please, I read a post mentioning that there was a change in form IM0008 on the 22nd NOV 2014 and Isent my application on the 21st Nov 2014, any idea what was the change and what would happen to my application.
Thanks

You're fine as long as you used the most recent form as of the day you sent in your application.

I was trying to get more information on the following terms in GCMS report

ECU-PA ( Program assistant ) -
Registry - Safe location to store all the docs - (During the intervening period, the mission secured these visas in a room in the registry section where only the FCO, visa printing clerk and the head of the unit had access - Taken from Canada hongkong audit)

DVO- Designated visa officer - Locally sourced officer ( Earlier was called DIO- Based on Audit report)
CBO - Canada Based visa officer - Team Lead for DVO

GCM shows

File assigned by CBO
File assigned to DVO

Can someone help the full form of EDO in ECU-EDO

Can anyone advise

I had my pcc issued from Indian Embassy at Dammam, Saudi Arabia. But they did not stamp anything on my passport. One of my friend did the same but his passport was stamped with "PCC issued" and signed on the passport page.

My Q: should i go to indian embassy again and take the stamp on passport. does it matter ? please advise

No. All they want is the PCC, they don't care if there's anything in your passport about it.

Can anyone please help me. I am called for interview and currently preparing my certificates. My reference which my boss signed for me when I filed my application was Network Specialist. As an update to bring to the interview, I requested certificate of employment from HR and what they had given me is Computer Engineer as my job title. Could anyone help me how to explain these two. Though it has the same job which is to look after our network and computer communication.
Will it hurt my application because of this mismatch?

Dear Seniors,
I have applied for FSWP-14 by myself NOC-1114 on 12 may 2014.

On 12 Nov-14 got a letter form VO where they asked me for clarification why my previous two experience were similar. I was replied on 25th Nov with a fresh experience letter from both organization.

Surprisingly I have got refusal letter yesterday , where they said I did false representation.

But I have provided all guanine exp letter ,which I got from my employer.

* Shall I apply for a judicial review.
* Or any other option for me.
Looking forward to hear from you.

If you want to challenge or appeal this decision you need to get a lawyer immediately.

No. Forget about the titles, it's the job duties relevance that they are after.

Hi seniors,

I sent my Medicals on Nov 28th 2014 and 3rd line is updated on NOV 30

Nw I am getting married in this month, Should I inform NDVO abt. this or should I wait until I get visa and start processing for my wife.

Please help.!!!

Thank you

Inform the VO now. You will need to wait to receive your visa until you add your wife to your application and provide proper documentation for her, so you can both get visas together. That includes medicals. No use getting a medical and then adding your wife to the application because your visas will expire one year after the date of your medicals, which may not leave you much time.

DO NOT wait to get a visa then inform the VO! Once your visa is issued your application will be closed, and a change in family composition prior to landing will INVALIDATE your visa and you will lose it and have to start over with EE. If you get a visa without adding your wife to your application, then land, you will NEVER be able to sponsor your wife and you may even lose PR. You also can't land with her even if she gets some other visa like a visitor's visa. Don't do it!

Thanks Toufiq.

I checked the form and it was edited in 12-2012. So I guess I can just resend the one that I submitted at the time of application.
