NDVO Applicants, can you please throw some light on the below:

Earlier it was said that prior to medicals there is the background check done and post medicals it is the security and criminality check... is this still the case? My second line was updated on nov 24 and I got MR on 28th. I doubt any check can be done in 4 days . Actually its not necessary they do the background checks on all applications it depens on VO if he is satisfied with your documents then he can directly said yes for MR other wise some third party will investigate the concerns raised by the VO , it mainly depends on luck and quality of the documents submitted by them thats why few get MR just after the second line addition and for some it took months to get MR after second line .

that gets me to the 2nd question:
What kind of background check does NDVO do
1) marksheets are validated by WES .... so does ndvo only validate with wes
2) pof do they validate with bank or only ask us for fresh statement. Again it depends on the quality of proof , if you have send the statement of your branch manager that that you have x amount of liquidity with proof then they satisfy with the proof , if have some doubtful doc then they may do the verification
3) for liabilites do they cross check with CIBIL. May be i am not sure in this regard , i havent submit and proof regarding it.
4) work experience letters... I have not heard any forumite saying that they recived a verification call . Some times they do send some one physically to your office to verify or they call HR or may be they call your boss to verify the credibility of the exp .
5) finally physical verification ...again no one has reported this either In Nepal they called and in Punjab also then send some on e physically , i have heard about the person .r . I

is it finallly safe to assume that with a 4 month processing, I should expect ppr only in april Before PPR they make sure abut the criminality check if they feel they require some more docs they can ask for them even they can call anyone for interview if the feel they want clarification regarding it , I have heard for some it took 8-10 months in Criminality checks , it again depends of travel history and other factors

Dear Forumites Give me courage

I am November 19 applicant and my cc charged on Jan 15. My NOC 2281 and i have seen many of 2281 applicant who has been charged on 14 or 15 jan has already received PER emails which is making me worry why i am not receiving the same email.
Believe me i check my mailbox n number of times everyday but sleeps with disappointment.

There are lot of things depend on this email and the very important is my kids nursery admission . I hope many of delhites know how difficult it is in delhi to get your child admitted in nursery .
If i have to admit my son for nursery admission then i have to shed around 1 or 1.5 lac ( non recoverable in any case). Please advise shall i go for his admission without waiting for PER email or should i wait.
If i receive PER email then i will continue my kid in playshool till the other things gets finalized .

Please suggest

Bro you will receive PER soon, But don`t spoil your son education by think of Canada visa. You are not guaranteed are not sure until unless your have PR in hand, If you get visa can you afford to take your family there and bare all the expenses, that not good idea because you don`t the situation there, So my advise is to first you travel to Canada and once you got job then take the family. Meanwhile let your son continue his education.Hold your fingers crossed and pray to god..

Many applicants' files with initial visa office as NDVO are getting transferred to Warsaw, Poland Visa Office. Is this a good sign? Can we hope that with this the load in NDVO is shared with Warsaw VO and Warsaw VO is hiring more visa officers to process the files? One applicant got his Case Specific Enquiry reply within a day from Warsaw VO? Is this really a good sign that they will process our application pretty soon now?

I have been blessed with a baby on 28th december and last week only i received my MR request from NDVO. Can anyone help with the following queries of mine

1. What all documents need to be updated to get baby added to the application
2.Do we Update the "General Application Form" initially submitted to CIC or we refill that form again. I am asking this because if we fill a new application form then the barcode id will be different for the initial form submitted to CIC and the new from
3. the 150 CAD DD fees was addressed to whom and was it payable in Newdelhi or Canada.

I AM 25th Nov applicant in NOC 2281 - as per my bank (HDFC) till 4th Feb my DD is not cleared Sad Sad Sad

In my PER email it is written "acknowledges receipt of your payment dated 9 September 2014 in the amount of $1,250.00 Canadian dollars"
But my application was received in November, 2014.

Should I send them an email to correct this mistake ?

Raise a CSE with a NDVO on 29 day since PPR if you don't have a newly issued PP by then. Include some proof of application with PP issueing authority.

Don't get disappointed in such a short span of time. I am also sailing in the same boat. DD encashed 12012015 yet to receive PER.

Don't conclude anything before you land in Canada. My suggestion is to go ahead with admission of your son. No one can predict. I too paid fees for my son's senior KG. Everything should go normal unless you land.

Folks,

I've a good news to share. I was bit concerned about my application which was filed through a lawyer on 21 Nov under NOC 0111 and there was no feedback either from my lawyer or cIC. Yesterday i tried to approach CIC and after going through certain verification process it is confirmed by customer service agent that my application has already been charged and accepted under FSW 2014 program however i'll receive PER email in a week time.

All the very best to those who are lined up to hear same kind of news from CIC.
