I am not the only person here that feels the waiting for PPR is "unbearable" .. I observed it is a common feeling between all the applicants. And yes, I will be able to cope with the challenges ahead And whenever I see there is a way to make these challenges less for me and for the rest of the people I will ask for it .. for that reason I gave my feedback to the ECAS service . I guess it is not such a difficult thing for CIC to make some improvements for their service. If they ask us to give our opinion we should tell them: we need more information that will make our life easier and will reduce the amount of emails sent by the applicants asking about the status of their applications.

Keep calm buddy , immigration is not an easy process , there are people who have waited for many years to get their residence-ship. We have to consider ourselves very lucky and blessed to have reached this far -

My application was received on December 30th 2014, exactly 2 weeks after yours was submitted. Does this mean my credit card will also be charged soon if my application is accepted?

It would be great if you guys can tell me approximately when I should be expecting my credit card to be charged.

I received a letter with my UCI number but online status check says In-process with no further updates.
Since I have received UCI does it mean all my documents have been reviewed and not going to be returned again?
What should we be expecting after this letter?

Also after receiving residence permit, how long can wait before going?

NDVO Applicants, can you please throw some light on the below:

Earlier it was said that prior to medicals there is the background check done and post medicals it is the security and criminality check... is this still the case? My second line was updated on nov 24 and I got MR on 28th. I doubt any check can be done in 4 days

that gets me to the 2nd question:
What kind of background check does NDVO do
1) marksheets are validated by WES .... so does ndvo only validate with wes
2) pof do they validate with bank or only ask us for fresh statement
3) for liabilites do they cross check with CIBIL. Again for cibil report customer consent is needed which we have not provided
4) work experience letters... I have not heard any forumite saying that they recived a verification call
5) finally physical verification ...again no one has reported this either

is it finallly safe to assume that with a 4 month processing, I should expect ppr only in april
