Hello friends,

I just received MR from NDVO.
Now my wife is pregnant and due date is in 1st week of May 2015. = Good news

Is it good to do our medical test before delivery??? or is it good to do our medical after delivery??? = medicals have a defined deadline mentioned, so one has to submit before it ends, a women will not examined or checked till 3 months after giving a birth / so if that so you have to pause your file inform vo asap

If we do medical after delivery than We get more time to land in Canada as visa is valid till expiry of Medical. = need to concern first hospital where you can undergo this medical tests before the due date or not ? call immediately to hospital and see your available dates first, talk to receptionist about the case and will get some better clarification

Any Suggestions....

Hi Seniors & Forumites,

Can any one pls reply...

Time Line:

NOC : 0112
Appl Rcvd : 6th Nov '14
CC Charged : 9th Jan '15

No PER yet. When compared with other members with same time lines, even with same NOC code, i am lagged behind. Few of them received PER.

I have 67 points. IELTS score card submitted.

I am very much worried. Pls help me out.

Congrats divyangpatel , +1 for awesome good news dear, :)
Cheers !!!

One little observation :

NDVO has started working on Technical NOCs recently (For Ex. Ele. Engineer, Mech. Engineer etc.) apart from 217* NOCs.

This is based on few recent DMs, MRs and additional document requests applicants got.

So, ppl falling under these NOCs...keep checking ur mail boxes..! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thanks Palakpatel....I will talk with Hospital guys and let us see what thay say in this matter....

Yes Palak Bro... agreed. :D :D

What I meant was "apart from 217*, other NOCs are being cleared too". cuz recently whole lot of 217* NOCs were cleared, so I was wondering what about some other engg. NOCs.

Anyway, thank you bhai..!

socc3rguy | good note dear,
kind a correct but if you look at the nocs applied at NDVO are major from tech background so it will sound like the same.

Dear SENIORS,

I received PER in Nov 2014. I have recently resigned from my job, and currently unemployed. I have to send additional documents and updated Generic Form for adding my spouse.

Two questions:

Under current occupation field in generic form (IMM 0008), what should I write?
Will the status of being unemployed at this stage of application affect my chances of PR?

Please reply.

Why did you resign? is it because you got PER?
Yes you are 80% on your way to Canada, but surprises may happen!
CIC may also check your work background with your employer. In my opinion, you took this decision a lit bit early!

divyangpatel , if you want you can proceed with Tests, they will not stop you to do test, where as in other country it not allowed.
But in India, it is fine... All the very best dear :)
