There is 0% chance of your process getting delayed because of your CIIP attendance.
Hi RatingCrady,

When you go to register for CIIP, they ask for your resume too. Some people who maintain multiple copies of resumes might end up uploading the the one different from they have mentioned about their job duties. I am just guessing here as there may be similar other things. But I know at least one person who has reported that post registering as he has not attended the session, he got a email stating that he has wasted canadian govt resources. So my sole point is that there could certain exchange of infomation between CIIP and immigration authorities.

There had been lots of discussion around security checks taking 4 months or so like in case of brother who has reported request for Australian PCC after four months. I am wondering how is it fast for VOs like Sao Paulo (Take for example LuandMu from the SS - he is August 29 applicant with MR on Jan 21 and already having PPR).

Or are we trying to say that it is based on:
(Security Check initiated + Security Check Completed) = 4 months

And in this case, NDVO is not even starting the security checks for 4 months like evident from RahulPune's GCMS file of yesterday.

BAD ADVISE FREN !!!

It will be considered as 'borrowed' funds and NOT accepted by CIC.

Also understand the new cert. / FD statement that you receive will have a endorsement / NOTE: "under lien..." or something like that... Banks are not fool :P

That might be the case but it will not hamper the PR visa issuance process.

Brother...story is bit different. (my personal view)

First of all, you are right in the sense that it was mentioned - Crime/Sec. check not begun as per GCMS note, that was of Hardik and not Rahulpune.

Second, it is misunderstood that Sec./Crime check was not started after 4 months because, Hardik carried out his MR in Nov and with the hope that he sent PCCs in Nov/Dec...which was received by NDVO in Nov/Dec, his GCMS timeline was till Jan'15. So, this clearly means, Sec./Crime check was not started after around 1-1.5 months (not 4 months).

Considering 4 months timeline, it's totally uncertain. Not necessariliy in each and every case it is being followed as many formuties here have got PPR/DM in 2-3 months since Medical Received date.

So, now...let's hope that NDVO comes in full swing and shows its stamina.. :D :D :D :D

I think ndvo is overloaded with applications. They have lot of pending apps starting from 2010. They are on a strict mission to reduce the backlog to process express entry. That's why they are diverting post Jan per to alternate vos. Secondly security check won't take more than a month. I completely disagree with that. If you clearly observe the spreadsheet most of the less crowded vos are able to complete it in a month.

The only reason for the delay is they don't have time. They are not checking ur records untill the bfd comes. My bfd is set to march 31st based on gcms .medical request was requested on Dec 24th . The actual request was send on Jan 10 and bfd-bring forward date is set to march 31-. I strongly believe they don't check my apps or initiate criminality or security before april.

The delay is just because of excess app and not because of too many forigen travells

I am August 8th applicant waiting for 2nd line update. I have travelled to multiple countires e.g. US, UK and Switzerland.

- Could that be the reason of delay in 2nd line/ MR?
- Anyone else who has submitted application before August 8th and waitng for 2nd line update?

Based on inputs from seniors, what I understood is that they have BFD(Bring forward date), the date the next time they open the application.
Meaning, they would open your application again on the due date specified on your MR request and/or when you submit your docs prior to that.
But with current heavy load on VO, this is any mans guess... there are people in this forum who are waiting for 4 months...
But there are also people who got it in few weeks

Hi Adisu..can u respond to PM please?

Thanks. ;D ;D

Just want to give an update -

I am all set for Medicals schedule tomorrow at CMM, Hyderabad.. Doctor at GYD is out of station till weekend, so I opted for CMM which I heard is equally good..

Paid RPRF fee Online for CAD980.. 47300/- deducted from my account.. Saved around 6k INR (by not taking DD of 54K INR)

Few other details for other applicants who are yet waiting for their MR to come after 2nd line update. Just want to give some high level insight on how and what I applied -

1) My complete work experience (7+ years) is in India
2) PCC submitted along with the application in July
3) Dependents - Spouse and 1 year kid
4) Work experience in TOP IT MNC across globe (company 1), CMMI level 5 company (company 2) and Fortune 17th company (company 3)
5) I have attached original reference letters provided by company HR with 80-90% NOC match. all other details like company seal, number of working hours, company address, phone, ... everything followed without miss
6) I have attached my business cards with all the reference letters (except for company 2)
7) Have attached two additional reference letters of company 3 (currently working) given by my project Manager and other project manager along with their business cards
8) Have written three addresses (address during my graduation, address when working in company 1, address when working in company 2 & 3)
9) Have submitted bank deposits as POF. submitted Original bank deposit statement provided by Bank.
10) submitted last three months pay slips for all three companies

Everyone in this forum helped me documenting my application and I am very grateful to everyone. I would have submitted my application in June itself, but I thought I would submit a complete application with less mistakes rather than saubmitting an incomplete application in hurry. Believe me I found more than 20 mistakes reviewing my application around 10 times (got it reviewed by my friends also) .. I thought I should not give any option to VO to ask for any additional docs (just thought being in his shoes :) )

Hope this would help atleast one person to analyse what might be the reason of delay of his/her MR after 2nd line update..
sometimes if VO doesnt find required information or didnt receive required information from 3rd party verifiers or other sources in time, while verifying his/her application, he may extend the deadline for another month.. and he may not see the application back until he gets a reminder .. I have seen these kind of cases when applicants post their experiences from GCMS notes..

All the very best to everyone and I hope MAY and JUNE applicants get their PPR soon..

Congratulations and best of luck for the rest of journey . . . .
