Hi MAHE, So good to see your post today..

We don't know each other but I always wonder if you got the PPR. And, the reason is that our timelines are exactly same..

Our applications reached on the same day, same time and received by same person i.e. 5 May 1:18 PM Mike..
Also our PER came on the same date i.e. 18 June.

By the way, in the last 10 years, I have travelled a lot to multiple countries and have also worked in 4 organisations and so, I have provided multiple addresses. Is this same for you? May be because of the above our PPR is taking more time.

Hi guys. i am may 20 applicant. same boat as both of you. MR done in OCt and no PPR. i guess i travelled in many countries, studied in UK and travelled to countries like singapore, malaysia etc.. will it be the reason for security check to take time?

With advanced X-Ray machinery the risks are low plus u can always arrange 2 protection jackets (usually 1 is used for expectant mothers) to minimize the risk. However, i personally think that even 0.0000001% chance of anythingh which can impact the child for his lifetime is not worth taking even for the sake of immigration, let alone 5-6 months delay.

Having said that, u can also consult with the Dr. if its better to have it now (1 month pregnancy) or after 3-4 months. If its safer now, u can do the medicals now and send them to VO, they will be attached to ur file. This way, ur "Medical Received" line will appear before " started processing" line. Some of the candidates (1 NDVO -- submitted medical along with initial app & 1 CPC-O guy submitted medical after PER). Both have got the visa.

But weight Pro's n Con's of medical of expectant mother.

Hi. I am in a similar situation.
My wife is 7 months pregnant as well and I am still waiting for MR.
While I know there is an option of doing medicals before MR I am still waiting for MR to arrive.

X ray is totally safe.
My wife's doctor has allowed it as well.
It exposes the foetus to minimum levels of radiation which are not harmful at all.

Hi Friends,

Not related to FSW Applications so feel free to skip this post if you want :) (Apologies in advance)

I don't know how many are following the EE Forum but apparently the first draw for Express Entry 2015 was held in Jan and the minimum points to apply was 886 (886 score means that the last person having 886 score had 600 (job offer/PNP) + 286 (profile points)) :o

Not likely that candidates without job offer got through this draw...Hopefully this trend won't continue but too many people are frustrated right now, ex. see here

We are lucky that we got to apply in the FSW program last year...or else this could be us anxiously waiting for the next draw this year...So all those of us who are waiting and the wait feels unbearable sometimes :) stay calm, and stay positive abt ur app...we will get thru by God's grace....and rembr there r ppl in worse plight than us....

Yes you are absolutely right. If this trend of EE draw will continue, then rest assured none of the person without LMIA will get selected. It seems that whoever got selected under FSWP are the last batch of luckiest people to land easily in Canada. Otherwise newcomers doesn't' seem to have any chance if they will simply issue ITA to persons who has LMIA, which is near to impossible to obtain even for candidates who are already in Canada, forget about the candidates who are outside Canada.

Guys, It's going to be finally your decision! But I won't suggest taking any kind of risk!

Hey everyone !!!!!!

Just received our MR !!! Our second line updated today morning! Wasn't expecting MR so soon!!
Having said that , it took 90 days for MR to come after PER!!
Had aged by 10 years in last few months!! ;D ;D

All the best to everyone!! it's just a matter of time!! Everyone would get their MR/ PPR eventually !!!!!

Hi friends.
I am june 2014 Fsw applicant.Noc 1212.i have not received file no from cic.I mailed to them in dec 2014.i received a mail from them on 31st jan 2015 that your file was transferred to concerned VO & told me to contact concerned VO.Is everything allright.whether they have processed my file & issued me PER.

Guys, I have a question related to employment verification?

1 Does every file goes through employment verification or do they only verify it on random basis for few cases?
2 At what stage it is done & to what extent?
3 Is it done by phone calling or personal visits by third parties/Visa Offices?
4 Do they contact HR or the person whose name is mentioned in reference letters with Roles & responsibilities?
5 Do they confirm the actual roles & responsibilities mentioned or just the joining date, leaving date etc.?

Really appreciate your views.

People waiting for their PPR from NDVO...Specially the ones who paid their RPRF thrpugh DD's...Can you guys please check when did NDVO encash your RPRF DD? You can get that information from your bank....What I am trying to ascertain is that whether there is any standard average time gap between RPRF DD realization date and receipt of PPR... also, is thr any whtsapp group of people waiting for their PPR?? ...
