to the best of my knowledge indian PCC is valid for 6 months.

Indian PCCs are valid for one year, in my opinion. When I submitted my app, my PCC was already more than 6 months old. However, I didn't get request of PCC along with MR.

Hi Everyone!

I have submitted my documentation to CIC by December 10 2014 under NOC 1114, thru a consultant. I am sure that the quota did not reach under this category around 150 application were received by the time I submitted the application.

My consultant wants me to initiate the process under 2015 express entry as well, I request the members to recommend the best course of action in this case.

Is it okay to wait until we hear something from CIC on this or should I go ahead and submit expression of interest under the new scheme?

My second question is on the documents that I have submitted, since I have been handling critical finance processes the employer refused to provide a reference letter disclosing job duties and responsibilities, however I have submitted all the joining letters, experience letters, pay checks and tax returns and additionally I have submitted a self declaration mentioning my roles and responsibilities.

Do you see a problem with respect to the documents that I have submitted?

Please recommend.

Thank you,

Amit

Hi Amit -- there is no harm in putting in your app for express entry as well. you wont lose anything.

a self declaration and explaining the situation to cic alongwith the other supporting dox is fine Amit.

good luck.

Sorry to inform you but CIC does not accept Self-attested Job duties and responsibilities and we have seen a few cases of rejection in this forum this year for that very reason....For an Employer refusing to provide a ref. letter, you need to get a written mail/ letter from the HR stating their inability to provide the same...Then you need to get a Reference Letter from a manager/ colleague (your senior if possible) preferably on company letterhead along with your colleague's business card containing all contact information....I wish you had seen this forum earlier....:(

Definitely apply for EE and I'd recommend send an addendum to CIC, Sydney with the reference letter (from colleague) quoting your UCI (if you have), date of original courier receipt and courier name, your name, date of birth, passport no, received by etc....

Guys,

For me, processing started on 21st Jan. but no MR yet.
Anyone who got 2nd line updated after 20th January received MR by now?

Thx.
on the same boat bro. PER-: 26TH NOV, 2ND LINE-: 20TH JAN NO MEDICALS YET! I didn't see anyone with similar timeline as ours received medicals. I guess in this or coming week, we will get our MR :)

Hi,

I have one confusion.

Most of you seem to have received email from NDVO for the MR and RPRF. However I have received the email from CIC Ottawa office.

Is this ok and have other people also received MR and RPRF in this way from Ottawa office.

Kindly confirm and elaborate if possible.

Thanks,

Regards,
