Reposting since none replied.

I am 28th May applicant from NDVO..Our processing getting delayed because of FBI PCC.Hopeful to submit FBI PCC by feb end.
I expect PPR should come in Apr/May.... We will be in U.S that time ...

How should we submit our passports ?
Is it possible to submit in Canadian embassy in U.S or some other mean.
Any experience pl share... urgent ,,,I need to plan accordingly

So people here are confusing about Criminality Check and Security check which are two different steps !

Also I think once you give Police Clearance certificate then only they can start >> Security check

Seems more valid !

Hello everyone, would like to add dialouge... The mediclas request will b sent only
After the background and security checks r done and also only if they feel the application met all parameters...once medicals r done u will get Ppr in less than 50 days... Its very sure..jus folks need to wait to complete the timeline...

no thtts...not correct...my medicals are done on 27th oct and rec on 10th nov...no PPR yet...m 9th may applicant...nor my 4th line updated...

congrats brother and great to know 18th august applicant got second line update. me 13th august applicant, per 4th december. hope i will also get medical very soon.

a very strange thing- I got my PER on 30th Jan and have checked my status on cic website, it started showing "in process" but today when i again entered info for UCI or even with application no. it is not giving any status .. Instead below page is showing-

Am worried, why it stopped showing my status. Is it may be because the CIC system is down at the moment ?? anybody else also having same problem at the moment. Pls let me know..

PCC is related to Criminality check not security check. If one receives PCC along with MR, that means they are still working on your Criminality check

P.S Security check is a very lengthy and time consuming process. So thats the reason people have to wait for 1-2 months for PPR, People from some countries have to wait for even 3 months. Some VO's complete security check faster because of less work load.
