Hi Rahul..

But are we sure that date of Visa issue is from the date of Medical in such prologned cases??

I have serious doubt.

Let the other applicants to share their dates who recently got PPRs..! ??? ??? ???

Monday... The PPR day. Best of luck guys.

They should complete all other formalities before medical and once you clear medical, they should issue PPR. there is no point in reducing the 1 year visa period and cutting on the flexibility.

NDVO applicants ,, who were done with medicals not to get worried ,, roughly it is taking 5 months after ur third line for ppr ,, keep this in mind ,, this is because the bring forward dates is 2 months from 3 rd line and then they start security checks which may take upto 6 weeks , so ppr will be roughly between 4.5 to 5 months after 3rd line ,,, source group of recent gcms notes ,,

Hi Socc3rguy... If we see the SS for NDVO applicants most of them have got their PPR within 3-4 months. Some have been lucky to get it in 2 months (for example Sriram). I believe that this trend will continue and we should get our PPR's within 3-4 months from MR.

Btw, there are 400 odd people from NDVO waiting for PPR. For even half of them (who got MR till mid-Nov) to get PPR soon (by next month end) NDVO has to start sending out 30-40 PPR every week which is not happening and that is the worry !

And yes, visa validity is always from the medical done date irrespective of the delay !!!!

Let's hope for the best...
Cheers!

If we apply rationale...

NDVO is on PPR for the month of May'14 and in this month overall applications in-flow was low compared to the latter months.

Applicants, whose applications were ready to put-up in the month of May'14 were very less but as months pass-by, in-flow increased drastically.

Hence, if NDVO wll take such a long time to clear applications for the intial months in which it has to deal with few applicants, I am really worried what will happen to the applications of July'14 or later months. That is because NDVO will have to work day-night to clear the backlogs + new rush of pending applications whose MR completed.

Anyway...we can not do anything except waiting...and let's do that.!

;) ;) ;) ;)

ohhhh..... then it's a serious issue..!!

In this case, applicants should be ready mentally + physically + financially to get settled in Canada in advance while waiting for PPR.

Hello everyone, would like to add dialouge... The mediclas request will b sent only
After the background and security checks r done and also only if they feel the application met all parameters...once medicals r done u will get Ppr in less than 50 days... Its very sure..jus folks need to wait to complete the timeline...

More serious issue for people When are in job and have notice period of two months. They also need time to resign. People with 1112 category, many of them may have noticed period of 3 months.
