779 ppl picked in the first draw of EE. I have few questions

1. When will the next draw be? Have CIC clarified how many draws they will do in a year? Or is it only one per year?

2. Are all these people having job offer? I wonder what kind of positions are these where employers are willing to wait for 6 months, and still have to hope that candidate clears the immigration process and makes it to them finally.

3. I have no idea about EE. Are their any riders and condition apply here for those 779 people (like clear ielts, medical, pcc, etc) or they are already through with all these steps?

How to find out total points gained in EE to check one's eligibility?

Hi all, i need help....i'm 7th may applicant...still no PPR request. Now in my office they initated for H1B visa and the process started full fledge. I'm in the confusion state....please give some suggetion

Dear friends,

I asked this question in this theead before and didn't get a satisfying answer from anyone. So i am reposting this question here. Please let me know your insights about the below questions.

Am i right to say If someone's CC charged means that his application is complete and CIC officers has already checked the candidate's job description match to the 80% of the lead statement of the NOC and after checking that only they charge the candidate's credit card?

Is there any chance that the CIC officers will charge the CC first and then later they check the candidate's job description (JD provided by the company including the jobs he performs in the work) and if it's found that it doesnt match with the 70%-80% of the lead statement and so the candidate will receive a NER?

Really appreciate your answers in clearing my above doubts.

Thank you all in advance.

Dear,

Kindly note that before the EE came into the website of CIC there was a page on the website which was the guidance about how to complete the application. The page was having all information how to fill the forms and how to send etc.

On the same page it was having heading that what next. Under this section it was mentioned that the first step is completeness check where the application will be check that all the documents are presented, completed, signed as per the check list. At the same time he/she will check that the NOC under which this application had been submitted is still not reached the cap and the exact amount of processing fee had been included along with the package. If all are ok, he will process the fee and the file will transfer to another officer which will check the eligibility of the application that the application is having the points it required to process. If the documents resented are well ok and you gained the point i.e. 67 or more, than he will send the email which is called golden email or per. Otherwise they will send the email called ner and will mention the instruction how to get the refund.

Hope this will be ok and satisfied your question.

What happened in the Express Entry draw was predictable. I am not surprised at all, they selected a system similar to that of New Zealand. Like NZ also say that job is not required to get EOI but actually it is MUST.

I have a theory for workload at Visa Office across the world after this:

So we now know that people who are invited to apply already had LIMA. Which means that most of them are already in Canada.. If they are invited to apply, means their Visa Processing will be done at CPC-Ottawa right? Which means that VO across the world would will only be processing FSW cases! Therefore, there won't be any delay for existing FSW applicants due to EE. In fact, it might get faster as after few days when all the PERs for FSW2014 have been issued, there won't be new PR apps for a while!

Hello everyone,

Got the second line updated "We have started your process on 28th Jan"

Can anyone share his/her experience of employer verification before they send MR . . .

All the best to all of us who are waiting

WTF??!!!! I agree with fswp2014applicant, they might have done this because the don't want to increase the number of applications to review while they still have a lot of applicants of FSW 2014 in queue. Or they just want to see how the new system works...

To me they are trying the system only. We'll have to wait for 3-5 draws to see how will things stabilize.

As it's stands, it's not an immigration program - it's a legalization program. They are giving PR status to those that are already there with a Job Offer. That's not how they marketed it.

I agree... so far. But we'll have to wait for the next draws to be sure.

Use this tool to find out eligibility: http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

You can calculate your points with the official CRS table: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

No provincial nominees on EE yet.

Those that got PNP on 2014 have to apply with the old paper-based system. Only a few applicants, from a few provinces, will be able to get a PNP for EE.

Hello Friends,

I have lost yesterday my credit card which i have used for payment to CIC. My application date is 22nd dec and in NOC 2131. Currently charging is running around 10th Dec as per updates on the forum.

Please suggest what is the right action for me to do now. Should I get my CC blocked, not done until now, and send a new payment form to CIC with my applications details. I guess my UCI number would not have been generated yet. Also no idea will they accept new payment form for my application.

Please guide..I am in deep trouble :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
